Low low order
I don’t usually write a review for anything, but this is excellent paint. I have all allergies and have trouble with smells, and this has been the lowest odor of anything I’ve ever used.

Best for all kinds of things
I love this stuff! Highly recommend for all kinds of priming situations.I wanted zero VOCs for covering very dark, bold paint in a room for my granddaughter who has allergies and asthma. This stuff covered bright RED and ORANGE walls with no trouble, was super easy to use, and went a long ways. We followed that with a lovely warm pale ballet/Tuscan pink (also zero VOC). This primer made it so easy! (This isn't my first time covering difficult paint, but it was definitely the best outcome.)After the room, I decided to paint out an old cedar chest I'd found at Goodwill. The thing was seriously ugly, sort of mid-century modern gone terribly wrong! It had stains on it that I can't even imagine what they were - like dark hard resin drips. I simply sanded down the drips/stains, wiped the thing down with a damp cloth, and painted on this wonderful primer. After 1 coat it looked so much better! After 2 it looks amazing, and I haven't even bothered to cover it with a color yet, it looks that good. And only the slightest bleed-through from those odd stains, which I think another thin coat would take care of completely.Goes on easy like regular latex paint, can be thinned down to suit your needs or even to spray, is very close to a pure white, and is matte.Forget stripping furniture or sanding, just use this and you can't go wrong.

Paint can busted open in box
Very upset. I received a box with paint spilled all over and I can not get my money back because I can’t return the product since it’s leaked all over the box. Not happy at all

No odor and 'Zero' means nothing toxic.
I liked the product because it's zero VOC: volatile organic compounds - these are used in solvent based paint and in some water based paint to help adhere the paint to the surface. Bulls eye, Zero eliminates the toxicity of paint - it's safe for baby rooms and pets, bird cages, kitchen shelves and pantry. No chemicals or unusual smells in these areas after painting. Also recommended for bedrooms of kids with alergies. So glad Rust-Oleum puts science behind it's paint.

A joy to work with
I was confused by the conflicting reviews but took a chance because I needed zero VOC primer. All the primers at my local hardware store have VOCs. This stuff is a JOY to work with. Doesn't drip or splatter and goes on easy. Once on, it dried fast. Most importantly, it has zero fumes. I really love this. I wish paint was as fun and easy to work with. Leaving this review to help others out!

Works well
It did the job. An added bonus that it is white to cover up the colors underneath. No complaints.

Covers well, no fumes, thick, easy to work with
In comparison to the 1,2,3 version this zero voc primer is more pleasant to work with and does just as good a job.

Very thin, very watery, doesn't cover well - REALLY BAD PRIMER!
This stuff is complete garbage. I ended up with a can of it simply because I needed primer in a hurry and couldn't get a gallon of the Zinsser 1-2-3 because everybody seemed to be out of it at the same time. Got this instead and figured since it was Zinsser, how bad could it be? It's bloody horrible, that's how bad it can be.I suppose this is the eco-friendly "save the whales" version of primer - I don't know. Whatever it is, it's basically water with some white coloring in it. This stuff is amazingly thin, it doesn't cover worth a darn. It sucked into the new sheet rock, on the ceiling I was trying to do, it ran off like water and I ended up looking like I'd been in a white rain storm. I absolutely hate this stuff - wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
