Axed at the Ice Machine: A Mattie Tucker Paranormal Cozy Mystery

Excellent first book in a new series. The setting is original, interesting and offers loads of possibilities going forward, characters are well developed and likable except, perhaps, the criminals, there are humorous moments, a mystery that holds the reader's attention and writing that just flows - couldn't ask for a better start.

A dying town found a way to survive. They rebranded the town as 1941. Yes, it worked! So while the world is movimg forward, This town created a theme, thay not only saved the town, but hides magickals and paranormals as well. This was well written, had a good murder(s) mystery too solve and we got to know some of the main characters as well. This was a terrific, humorous, magickal, mystery, I Loved it!

I really enjoyed the first book in the New Mattie Tucker paranormal cozy mystery series. Mattie is endearing and her friends are as quirky as she is. I will be looking forward to the next book in this series

I love this new series by Juliette Harper! Fun, quirky, town and characters, nostalgia, witches, weres, vampires and mysteries needing resolution! A little romance on the side ;)

Love this new series. Interesting town with great paranormal characters. I enjoyed the time frame of the story. Look forward to the next book.

This was the first book in this series that I have read and enjoyed the characters and story line are fun to read.

They did it again! I wait on tenterhooks for Jinx's books and now I'll be counting down the days till new Mattie Tucker mysteries!
