I added a basket to my ebike, but that wasn't going to work with the wired headlight mounted where the basket was destined. I figured I'd have to splice some wires to extend the mounting options... or give up the wired headlight and go with a handlebar-mounted one. I was so pleasantly surprised to find out that I could simply purchase a Julet extension cable, snap it in, and mount the light wherever I wanted. This cable was exactly what I needed. It allowed me to mount the light to the front of my basket. The cable was a little long (I would suggest that over a little short!) so I just looped it and zip-tied it under the basket.The cable feels legitimate and of good quality. Works perfectly. I'd definitely buy this one again.

Transporting my bike on a bus, combined with it falling over from a collapsing kick stand (grrrr!!!!), stripped this cable, which enables you to operate your display/battery assist. Ride1UP doesn't provide replacement cables, incredulously, so you're on your own! Why?To install, I essentially had to do a bypass, because once removed from the tube, it's virtually impossible to needle the cable through the many metal barriers inside the tube, and so I ran it on the outside, then taped it over to protect it from the elements.Now that it's successfully installed, I'd argue it performs even better than the original cable! The performance is exceptional!I'm deeply appreciative this cable is available on Amazon, because e-bike stores and bike shops informed they don't carry this cable. Not even Ride1UP provides it! (What?!?)If I get another e-bike, it's going to be one where I can get the replacement components locally.

Mounted a basket on the front of my Addmotor cargo bike. This extension allowed me to mount the headlight out on the front of the basket for better visibility.

I wanted to have a more relaxed riding position on my e bike. So I feel I was able to find an extension for the wiring harness brake switch. It would have been hard to splice

These cables are well-made extensions for HIGO or Julet ebike cables. I have used probably a dozen of them in a variety of pin versions for a number of different ebike builds. Absolutely zero problems and the cable ends are not brittle nor do they have loose exterior housings like you see on some of the cheaper HIGO clones.

Need a short extension for the light on my ebike because a front cargo basket interfered with wiring harness. Works well. It is a snug plug with the waterproof sleeve on it but as long as you order the correct number of pins it will fit

I purchased one of these a year ago and this new one doesn't fit. The diameter of the pins is different as well as the key is a different size.
