Efficient cooling and good capacity

Got this specifically because I have no way to transport a freezer.Let it set for few days. Plugged it in and burned the box. After 2 days, it makes weird noise, smells like burnt wires, and never got cold.Can't return it cause I burnt the box.Didn't think I'd need the box for a NEW freezer.

This freezer is a replacement for an upright freezer which has reached the end of its life. Although the packaging was not markedly damaged, the front right corner of the unit has suffered noticeable damage to the metal of the case. As far as I can tell, none of the workings of the unit are damaged. I have loaded the freezer with frozen food from my previous freezer, and am impressed by the amount of empty space left. I wish that additional baskets were available. I checked the temperature inside the freezer with an inexpensive IR thermometer, and the wall of the freezer was ~10 degrees below freezing.Other than the damage in transit, I am quite satisfied with this freezer.

Came with a small dent in the front.

Despite the box looking fine, the right hand corner was smashed in. I could have lived with this if it worked, but the compressor wouldn’t start. After opening up, the compressor had a huge dent in it and one of the copper tubes was sheared off and the coolant leaked out. As this was completely enclosed and the enclosure was undamaged, it had to have happened during assembly. Utter garbage, returned for my money. Going with a Frigidaire instead…

Received brand new in box, but top was already denting in. Waited 24 hrs & plugged in first time...it hissed,gave off a burning smell, & didn't work!

It was on for maybe 30 minutes and smelled like the wires inside were burning. Image attached of the issue.
