No real surprise here that you get what's in the box. It was delivered on time. So... not a lot to say about it as a purchasing experience. It's what you expect from Amazon.Onto the model itself though, this was a true pleasure to work on and build. If you like building big models (knight size) but want more intricacy than a knight can offer, this is absolutely the model for you. There are so many tiny pieces and small details it's honestly amazing. As you build you realize that some of the things you're building are platforms and walkways for people and munitions. The thing is literally covered in guns, with lots of customization options. There are two different knee weapons (guns or missile pods), 2 types of AA weapons on the top (short stubby flak cannons or longer AAA batteries), and a choice of 4 different shoulder weapons (missiles, plasma, turbo laser, and heavy bolter) all to customize to your liking. The ball joints for the arms give you a bit of customization and everything is symmetric so no worries about building two left arms by accident. If you shave the risen slot off the ball joint the arms are fully posable as is the head.There are three shoulder options, one for imperium, chaos, and neutral. The transfer sheet is a bit of a let down personally, but for those that like to add little details it's got a good selection of several sizes to put whereever you'd like. There's plenty of places to put things like that. When it comes to painting, all of the legio colors are great to choose from if you don't want to customize the paint job. The sheer size of the model makes painting fairly straightforward as there are plenty of open spaces and the metallic details are relatively large. What disappointed me a little bit was that every single piece is highly detailed, which then get covered by 3 other layers of armor and the like, making it impossible to see or paint. This meant a lot of "unnecessary" mold lining trimming went to waste. It's hard see a detailed piece and not think it will be prominently seen.

Parts fit perfectly, completely dynamic in posing capabilites and unrivaled detail from GW. Forgeworld, Andy and his team have continually shown that they are top dogs and the true spirit of 40k while citadel standards quality and spirits falters under their corporate thumb.
