Amazing
Absolutely over the moon saved me grands on a new sofaI used the prep stuff first then I applied 2 coats of the leather dye I used a foam mini roller changed it for each coat it does bubble up with air bubbles which I panicked at this point lol but they soon soaked nto the leather and as you can see from the close up no bubbles remain. The finish is beautiful I'm really impressed iv tried scratching to see if it comes off and ot doesn't so seems like it will be very durable

Says what it does
Ok before we start watched a heap of videos on YouTube about this stuff and thought it was to good to be true. Bought to colour and repair with the leather sealant bottle two simulated leather exec chairs that had start to flake and peel. Colourant went on well covering nicely and proceeded to put on about 4 coats with a sponge applying to affected area and allowing to dry each time naturally. Checked and thought ok looks a bit better now and then dabbed on the sealant. Sealant covered affected areas and took the gloss from leather off other areas it touched. Ok so far so good but what it didn’t do is what I saw it do on the various YouTube videos I watched. It didn’t fill in the gaps between good leather and flaked off bits. It didn’t cover cracks. The sealant dried to a dull Matt affect and hardened the cracked and flaked off leather bits. It certainly didn’t do what I saw people on YouTube do, transform an old piece of furniture into a new one magically! It made it look a bit better with less flaking. So it did ok but still going to get covers to make them look good! For me black colour was good without being magical and leather sealant hardened and dulled the leather to stop any more flaking and cracking but didn’t make the chair look like a newish chair like the vids on YouTube show us. So slightly above average product, happy that blended colourwise but disappointed it isn’t the magical stuff some reviewers say it is.

Excellent and easy to use
Incredibly easy to use. Just follow the instructions. I didn’t use a hair dryer but allowed it to dry naturally between coats. Used on Range Rover seat/trim leather. FYI the ivory product matches LR9668 (Ivory LR leather code). When first applied it appears lighter but don’t panic, when it dries it’s a 99.9% colour match.Applied light single coats and allowed to dry (have actually only done one light coat on seat). Door handle was 2/3 coats. See pics.Recommend getting sealant too as this is just the colourant.

Miracle in a bottle
We have a recliner chair and the faux leather cover was breaking up to the extent my husband had polka dots on the back of his t shirt. I read the reviews and thought it was worth a try . The colour was too light , but I had a similar product in the cupboard so I added a little to get the closet match . I dabbed it on some of the patches , but I was unconvinced and thought we would have to replace the chair . A few days later(the chair is in a room we do not use much ) , I looked at the chair and hand on heart I could not tell where the damage had been ! So I need to finish my repair work . I am 67 and I have a life time of patching and mending ( I hate waste) but I cannot praise this product enough , give it a go . It may well be worth buying a couple of bottles in different Colours if you are not sure if there is an exact match , so you can mix the correct colour . Experiment on a bit no one will see . Got my favourite recliner back , I bought it at Debenhams on blur cross day , so I could never find a replacement . 👍

Scratch Doctor colourant is great
Easy to apply by sponge. No messy splashes. Never thought it would work on faux leather but WOW what a difference. I applied it to a bed footboard where the faux leather had cracked and bits falling off in large areas. I took the risk of making it worse by sand papering the surface to get off as much loose faux as possible. I thought I would have to throw it away. But after three easily applied coats of Scratch Doctor it came up almost like new. See the photos. I had to remove the footboard off the bed first.
