Looks great, pause is useful, but not that sturdy a build
Yes and no, for me.It's decent enough for lower end stuff. The finish is nice, even, and looks good. The style is useful for lots of situations. In my case, I like to do part standing and part sitting. I usually hold the shower head but this lets me set it lower so it'll hit my back by itself. I love that. The head is also pretty light weight which is a help with my movement limitations but it's a light duty, not all that sturdy type. It's tempting to see the slide bar as a grab bar but it is not. It's nowhere near sturdy enough. Just wanted to mention.Installing in my cheap shower insert was no big deal but I would not put this in a kid's bathroom. It's just not sturdy enough. This is one of those looks-good-but-is-cheap-so-likely-won't-last type things. There's plenty of room in the market for it but if you're looking for lifetime stuff, this isn't my idea of a good choice. Even the hose is iffy.Oh, the pause button is great, though. I've always turned the water off while sudsing. Pause lets me still save water but not have to reset temp.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Works every time.
First time I have had a shower that had an up and down feature and I simply love it. It works like a charm. I am short, my son is tall. I have always had to stand back to get the water right. This is perfect.

Okay for this price point but consider spending more
This is definitely a low-end fixture. It's very light weight and engineered to a low-end price point. It works okay when it's new, we'll see how it holds up. Several of the spray patterns "leak", like holes that should be off dribble out water instead. The flexible hose is not rugged. Any kinking or encounters with accidental blunt force are going to leave a mark.If you're installing it to replace a regular shower head you'll need a 1/2" pipe nipple about 3" long to replace the existing shower arm (bent threaded pipe coming out of the wall that the shower head attaches to). The exact length depends, so you'll need to measure for your particular installation. The slide bar is also quite light. It's definitely not a grab bar.If I were doing it again I'd definitely spend more for a Grohe or other higher-end brand. Installing this takes enough time that I don't want to have to do it again for a long time. It also involves drilling holes in the tile that may or may not suit a replacement, given this model is unlikely to be available in a couple years. If I had to pay someone to install it that's all the more reason to invest in one you won't have to replace.

Good quality parts and nice surface finish, yet a bit hard to install!
The current shower and slid bar set from PEERLESS are made of high-quality stainless steel with nickel plating coated on the showerhead. The coating is resistant to regular scratches and wear, and the parts are resistant t corrosion and rust. The slid bar is lightweight and seems to be durable. Its' length is pretty standard and fits most bathroom walls, although I had a few issues in fixing the screws and drilling the holes. I'd rather have a design with hard double-sided tapes with no need for drilling the holes inside the walls.I also liked the pause option that can save a huge amount of water during showering. The changes in water spray are sensible with this shower head and the water flow is not bothering at all. I also did not notice any excessive leakage from the showerhead during the water spray which helps in saving water consumption.Overall, this slide bar shower set can be a good choice at a mid-range price considering the high-quality materials and parts, resistant surface finish, and capability in saving water!

Quality Hardware- Beautiful Finish
The Peerless P62447-BN Precept Slide Bar, Brushed Nickels Showerhead is the same style that was installed in our second bathroom. We've replaced the shower head over and over but none of them seemed to last more than a few months. I finally convinced Hubs that we should either remove the whole fixture, in which case it would just make sense to start demo and redo that whole bathroom (bring the only unrenovated bath in the house) to which he promptly responded "absolutely not" and ordered another bar/hose/showerhead which appears to be identical to the one already there. After removing the old fixture and a little clean up I was able to install the new one with minimal plumbing experience, basic household tools, the printed instructions from the box and common sense. I will say it looks pretty nice and was a needed upgrade. The shower is functioning fine now and we're into about 9 months with no issues. Good value for the $. Handy for if you have kids that like to shower (vs bath) as the slide allows for the placement of the shower head much lower than a regular fixture would. Also helpful in washing the dogs from time to time and I'd imagine folks with mobility problems would benefit from a fixture with these features. Great find!

Pretty Good
This is a good nickel shower bar with a 6 foot hose. The hose length is good, and the bar looks nice. It isn't super heavy duty like others I've seen, but it works okay. So if you need a decent nickel shower bar with a really good handheld sprayer this could work for you.

GORGEOUS FINISH!
Wow, look at how nice the finish is, right? That was the first thing I noticed when I unwrapped it!Beyond that, I love the spray adjustment, it has detents and clicks very strongly into place. The high adjustment is also very solid feeling. Things like this make the difference between this and a $20 no-name junker. Personally, I think it’s worth it.Installation was very simple. The finish seems to resist water spots thus far, and we do have some fairly hard water. The different spray patterns feel great and anyone will easily find their favorite setting. My wife loves it too!
