M.BLOCK & SONS 00805 16 Count Chai Latte K-Cup, White

This is my favorite afternoon treat. It is like having a candy bar in the afternoon. I always put a little sugar and half & half in a measuring cup and microwave it for 40 seconds to make sure the sugar gets fully dissolved in the cream. Then I make the Chai in my Keurig and it is so smooth and creamy and delicious. Goes down like my afternoon sweet treat and also gives me a little wake up to get me through the rest of my day. I can't be without it now - it beats having coffee in the afternoon, which would keep me up all night.

After reading previous reviews, I was excited to enjoy this product. I'm a big fan of Tazo chai made at Starbucks or at home using Tazo concentrate. I've experimented with various home made recipes and those have come up short. While Cafe Escapes Chai is creamy, it's missing the peppery notes of Tazo. Also, it left an unpleasant aftertaste similar to artificial sweeteners. I actually checked the label, but didn't find any listed. I'm happy that there are only 16 in the box as I won't have as many to use. Back to Tazo concentrate for me!

I bought these for my wife, who really loves Chais (especially the Starbucks kind...). Overall, they are like any other K-Cup, and work the same. In these, the flavoring is instant, with the addition of the hot water, the chai is brewed into your cup leaving an empty plastic shell.Is it as good as Starbucks- no, not really. Is it really fast, significantly cheaper, and much more convenient? Absolutely yes. If you are looking for something very fast, very simple, and as an alternative to a $3-4 chai, this might just be for you.

Have been buying Cafe Escapes Chai Latte for a while now, when I can find it in stock around here. Couldn't find it for a while so I figured I would check here. Am glad I did. Better price on Amazon than anywhere here. I will definitely be buying more.I have no other experience with Chai Lattes (I bought Cafe Escapes about a year ago on a whim) so I have no way to compare but I love the taste, smooth with a nice touch of spice, and scent is scrumptious.

My Mom used to make tea for me when I was sick...milk and sugar added. When I drink Chai Tea,I am reminded of those times and therefore,the tea is a comfort food to me.I like the taste.Very much.There is nothing bad I can say about this tea,other than it might be a little heavy on the calories. I pace myself throughout the day,and am careful about how much I consume.The taste is addictive,but I will use it as a treat when I need some comforting.

I just purchased a Keurig and was excited by the idea of being able to have a chai latte at home. I'm a Starbucks regular (I could have bought a car for all that I have spent there over the years :) and was happy to see that some of the previous reviews indicated that this was a great product.So I ordered the Cafe Escapes K-Cups and was very, very disappointed. I didn't even finish the first cup and won't be using the remainder of the box. It's nothing like a Starbucks, nor was it like any of the other brands that are commonly used in coffee shops and cafes. I can't remember a time in the past decade that I haven't finished a chai - there's some brands that I like better than others but the fact that I would rather give or throw away the 15 remaining K-cups speaks volumes. It tastes artificial and there was a definite aftertaste.In short, chai drinkers beware!! I'd recommend purchasing a sampler pack so you can try this one out without getting stuck with the full box.If anyone has recommendations for a different brand that tastes better, please let us all know!!

A friend recommended I try these and I am so happy I did!When one is in the mood for something sweet but doesn't want a zillion calories - this is it - sweet, cinnamon-ey, warm, comforting. One of my biggest taste-bud surprises in a very long while.

In India - in the southern city of Hyderabad - they have "hole in the wall" (and dirty) "Iranian restaurants" - They are actually Indian restaurants with "Mughlai" type of food. Some people rave about their food and their tea. I would never eat/drink there because they are very dirty.. How ever, someone in India told me that this tea is very similar to that Iranian tea.. I have never tried that Iranian tea but this tea sure seems very good. It has very complex flavors - including cardamom (which is used in Indian tea, made with milk).This tea is not for the typical american/chinese/asian tea consumer - they drink without milk. That really is the best way to enjoy pure tea and this Chai is not really the real tea - this is just an Indian version of tea with milk..Those (like me) who enjoy tea with milk would like it very much (as do I) - but those who are tea connoisseurs would not like it (and the connoisseurs are correct - tea should be taken without milk - to enjoy its purity).
