Q: Where can I find tips on painting, especially the high priestly robe

I found this site and seemed helpful. I would recommend spray painting most of the items, individual painting the posts is just too much work and the paint doesn't do well. Spray painting did very well for me. You will probably have to add several coats of paint for individual items. Main tip: do not become impatient or in a rush, if you do you will be overwhelmed and do a poor job. This is a piece that I want to be perfect and only have to paint once in a life time. When my family assembled this model it took about two hours but there were four of them working on it, my husband and three children (aged 11-17). The part that took the longest were putting in the screws and stringing them.
