Saved me from needing foot surgery
I was a barefoot walker in my house. Never wore shoes. And then I developed a foot injury and was told I shouldn't be walking barefoot ever. I have a tear in the plantar plate of my second toe, joint effusion, and mild tenosynovitis. Walking was painful. It got to the point where I started limping. Surgery was recommended to fix it. So I bought these to walk around the house in. Honestly I think they were the main source of allowing my foot to heal. I do also have prescription custom orthotics now for my leave-the-house shoes, but these sandals are what I wear the majority of the time since I work from home. I've been wearing them for 2.5 months. This is actually a second pair I purchased. I no longer have foot pain. I have no foot pain at all when I'm wearing these. I have no foot pain when I walk barefoot - which is usually just walking from the bedroom to the shower or bathroom in the night. I have more foot pain wearing my prescription orthotics than I do wearing these sandals. These sandals saved me from needing surgery, because I was on the verge of having that done. These sandals and the prescription orthotics were the last attempt to fix the pain before the surgical solution. I'll always have the torn plantar plate unless at some point I do get surgery. Until then, I'll be wearing these sandals to put that off as long as possible. So a few things about the sandal itself. They're some kind of foam. I can't wear them without socks because my skin sticks to them and it feels awful. I have to wear wool socks because non-wool socks get smelly fast. The one time I wore something else, the sandals and the socks stunk by the end of the day. I'm not a smelly foot person so it was absolutely these sandals as the cause. I think whatever these sandals are made of help to contain the bacteria that makes feet smell. Wool socks are very good at preventing this. The sandals are HOT. The first pair I purchased was in August. I'm very much a person who feels the temperature of my feet. If my feet are hot, I'm hot. If my feet are cold, I'm cold. Well, hot feet in August is not fun. I ended up exchanging them for a larger size and that helped a lot. That let my feet breathe a bit. I wear a size 10 in women’s shoes. I'm wearing a size 12 in these. They are absolutely too big. There's about an inch of space in front of my toes and behind my heel. Despite this, I don't trip around the house because they're too big. They work great. And they don't feel so tight wearing socks which allows my feet to stay cooler. Now that's it's nearly winter, I'm doubling up on socks because despite the warmth they have in summer, my exposed toes are too cold for the winter. So I need more room for that. They're too big, but they work well for me. And as you wear them they squish down a bit so they become bigger inside. I'm wearing the older pair with two pairs of socks and I wear the newer pair with one pair of socks. You can throw them in the washing machine to wash them. Which I've done a few times. I've also hand washed them. But honestly, the washing machine works great, so there's no need to take the time to hand wash. They're expensive, in my opinion, but considering they saved me from surgery, they're worth it.

Oofos for recovery!
I love my flip-flop style ooofos so much that I wanted a slide style pair to wear with socks in the winter. I use both for slippers at home. They massage morning feet and recover after-work feet. If you can stand the thong between your toes, the flip-flop style Oofos are THE BEST recovery sandals, hands down. But they obviously will not keep morning feet warm in the cold months. So, I bought these slide style hoping they would do the trick. Unfortunately, they are not as amazingly comfortable as the others and too tight to wear socks. I was going to exchanged for a larger pair but then they would be too long. So, since they are good quality and not uncomfortable (just fit a bit different), and I got them on sale, I kept them. I sometimes bring them along to work ( I’m an elementary teacher) as a mid day exchange for dress shoes. I gave these a 4 because they did not meet my particular expectations regarding socks and because they don’t out-rate their thong-style counterparts for true recovery comfort. They have good arch support for my high arches and very squishy! Easy to wear and the color is solid not applied as on the thong-style variety. Easy to walk in.

Run quite big, but worth finding the right size
These are amazing. So comfortable on my feet. They are a real pleasure to walk around in and feel great after a run for a long day in shoes. However, they do run a bit large. I am typically a size 11.5 in running shoes and originally bought a size 11 in these slides. They tend to stretch out in the strap just a little bit the more you wear them and so after about six months, I realize that they were truly just too loose for me. I ended up buying another pair in size 10, and that was a much better fit. Right when I put them on, they felt like they might be too tight in the strap but within a day of walking around, they had molded really well to my feet. Going forward I’ll be getting them in a size 10, which is crazy to think about because I would never in 1 million years consider getting a shoe in a size 10, regardless of who makes it. I’ve only ever sized half a size down when shoes run big, so it should really say something that I had to go down to a size 10 in these. My recommendation would be to try them out in person if you can, but once you find the right size, they really are amazing. The picture shows size 10 on the left and size 11 on the right with my size 11.5 feet in the middle for reference.

Great post-marathon shoes
Had to order these after a friend told me about them. They are now my go-to slides for after a marathon.

Game changer for foot pain and flat feet.
I have suffered from self inflicted foot pain by walking around on hard floors with standard flips or barefoot. Hazard of working from home, I guess. Since using these, my foot is a LOT better. Kind of pricey when you just look at the price, but the results are worth it.

Comfy But A Bit Narrow
The fit on these is a bit narrow but hopefully they'll loosen up as they're worn more. The cushion and support is just right and the fact that they slip on and off easily is a huge plus. For cleaning, all they need is a good wash and rinse with soap and water. The slide is perfect for walking. We have all tile in our home and these are worn in place of traditional slipper because they offer more support. We chose black, a pretty neutral color.

Completely changed my foot/heel pain at home! I have tile & hardwood floors everywhere and I think they’ve been making my feet hurt. Using these shoes are like walking on literal clouds. I never have pain when in these shoes! I would absolutely buy another pair to wear outside the home. Highly recommend for feet pain/plantar fasciitis.

I’ve been thinking about getting a pair of these for quite a while now but have mainly been put off due to the price. After ramping up my training for the London Marathon for the 2nd time this year I decided to make the plunge and give them a go to see if they really did make a difference. Categorically I will say yes they do! The sizing is what I would describe as a true fit so you won’t need to go up or down a size just get whatever size you normally would for shoes/trainers. I found they took a little getting used to for the first couple of times I wore them as they feel like they’re moulded to your feet a little but once I got my head round that I can only describe them as fantastic & well worth the money. I often found myself walking gingerly for at least a day after my long runs (10 miles plus) but these are so comfortable and cushioning on my legs and feet it’s easy to forget what I’ve put them through. If I’m being picky (& I am a little to be fair) the only slight niggle I have with them is they’re not the easiest thing to slide on, particularly if you’re wearing socks as well. Because of the rubbery nature of them your socks end up getting stuck and pulling tight on your toes. A slight adjustment when on soon sorts this and like I said I am being picky. Expensive? Yes, for what they are but in my opinion well worth the money if like me you suffer from sore feet and legs after long runs.
