U.S. Toy US Toy Dozen Mini Pirate Gold Treasure Chests

These chests are small and plastic and come in a set of ten. They have the look of burnished metal...kind of gold/ silver with black. They close with a tiny snap so they don't pop open like other little chests. They are quite small...about three inches or smaller than your thumb. They can't fit fake coins, but could fit a ring or beads or some jelly beans, candy, etc. Super happy with them. I bury them in my son's sandbox to find hidden treasure. They would also be great on cupcakes for a pirate themed party.

I was very pleased with these small chests. For such a small cost, they look quite nice. I bought two 12packs for a pirate theme party and placed numbers inside each box that matched numbers for gifts. The outside dimensions are 1.5L x 1H x 7/8W in inches. The inside dimensions should hold items that are 1.25L x .75H x .5W in inches. They are very small but if small is what you want (and I did), they are nice. They were delivered before the date promised.

I just received these cute very mini treasure chests. They are cute but so tiny. I was trying to get them for my daughters birthday party and add a coin as a token favor. It is truly small but cute. It's a Barbie size chest. Smaller in length than a glue stick or treasure coin for comparison. The color is a nice gold and has a tint of black. It opens and closes. As a cute favor it works. I only gave it 4 stars because I thought I would be able to add a coin inside as one reviewer stated but maybe a real penny would fit .

They don't all open and are too small to put anything in but cute to scatter around.

These were a great addition to the favors box I put together for my daughter's pirate-themed 7th birthday party. We order a few dozen of these little treasure chests for my daughter to use when making Girl Scout SWAPS. As SWAPS are generally pinned to clothing, the size of these was ideal. They are about the length of my thumb, though slightly thicker. They came closed, and could have easily been kept that way. But just the slightest squeeze broke the seal on them and popped open the lid.These are the perfect size for cupcake toppers or similar decorations. They are probably too small to decorate an entire cake (unless each slice had its own treasure chest).They were uniform in shape, size, and color, and I would definitely purchase them again.

These are a lot smaller and “cheaper” than I anticipated. I intended on using for Fortnite party but these are so tiny! I can’t even think of a candy that’s small enough to fit in these. Hopefully I cannot find some larger ones. This might be good for a cake decoration or something like that.

Nice quality and value for what you get. They're great for board games or miniatures games, and large enough to hold a few tokens or smaller dice inside, so you can use them in games where somebody has to pick a random treasure or guess which chest has something in it. All of mine have no problem closing securely and don't seem like they'll wear out anytime soon. Nice for props, decor, or game pieces. Full marks!
