OTHER 2 Pack-Swiss Star Vegetable Peeler, Carbon Steel Blade and Stainless Handle, 15

I originally found these from watching a video of some street jockey slinging these things on a street corner. really smooth talking, fast peelin' mofo! Long story short, I purchased these because i was so impressed with what the saleman could do with these and how quickly he can do it. apparently he was just a very talented man that had LOTS of practice peeling potatoes and what not. I have a bunch of differernt vegetable peelers, but this one takes the cake! really sharp and much easier to use than the old school peelers. even my gf prefers this product over the variety of selections i have in the kitchen. i recommend this peeler. great for the price! one little thing of caution tho. as its very sharp, you might want to rinse/wash the tool as soon as you use it and do your best to keep it dry when not in use so the blades dont go dull on you.

My favorite veggie peeler! It greatly reduces prep time and it’s comfortable to use. I first discovered this product at a Local Potato Festival and I couldn’t believe how different it was from all of the other products I had used in the past. I had it for several years before I needed to replace it. I’m not sure how I broke the original peeler but I was really upset thinking that I was going to have to go back to using the substandard peelers I had in the past. My son suggested that I look for the product on Amazon so I wouldn’t have to wait for the next Potato Festival to get another one. Bingo! Not only was it available but I got 2 for the price I paid for the original one!

I purchased the two pack. For the past year did use. Was disappointed with it because I'm used to the ergo plastic handled peelers that are held at a different angle because of the thick handle design, HOWEVER, I recently gave it another try and realized that if I held the peeler almost horizontally to the item I'm peeling, this actually works significantly better than the other KitchenA*** peelers I'm used to using. It is extremely sharp which makes peeling very easy and short work. It has been my go-to for the past two weeks and I'm now buying another set of two to give as gifts. Excellent value for the money, quality stainless steel, Swiss made, easy to use, sharp as he**, no plastic, and you don't have to press hard on your veggies in order to peel them. What more could one ask for? This is a great gadget if you hold it with a gentle grip and at the proper angle. LOVE IT! Buying more!Update: The new ones I just received are made in China. They are going back. I changed my 5 star rating to 1 star.

MAKE SURE YOU BUY THE STAR PEELERS. MADE IN SWITZERLAND. NOT THE CHINESE ONES. CHEAPER BUT NOT WORTH IT. THE STAR ONES DON'T LOOK LIKE MUCH BUT ARE THE BEST PEELERS YOU EVER HAD. WORK GREAT AND ARE VERY SHARP. THE ONE WITH THE NON STANLESS BLADE IS BETTER. THOU BOTH ARE GREAT.

Does not have the STAR Swiss made emblem on them but they worked good enough not to return.

I got my first peeler at the Maury County Mule Day (in Columbia TN) about 15 years ago and was sad that it finally broke down (maybe I shouldn't stick in the dishwasher). Was so thrilled that it was on Amazon! Yahoo. It's the best and I cook a lot!

I've been using the Swiss peeler for years and have recommended it to many of my friends. Be careful of knot-offs made in China. Be sure it is the original peeler manufactured in Switzerland.

I was shocked to see I received the item from the UNITED KINGDOM! I thought the seller was in USA. The item is the original SWISS made peeler I was intending to purchase. Very pleased! Did not mind that the product was a little delayed!
