I bought a variety of these cups and this one was not just comfortable but it stayed in place since installing it while other brands and styles did not. This is, for me, a nice selection for comfort and to keep light out of the photo box inside the camera. It is also flexible enough to press down flat when in the camera case for storage

I appreciate the idea, but it’s not quite what I need right now. I already have a big eyecup for my A7iii that works great. I was hoping to find something better to make my experience even better. Even though it’s made well and feels soft, it just doesn’t quite fit what I’m looking for. It’s easy to put on, and it fits nicely, but if you have a big face like I do your checks will touch the screen. Still, I’ll keep it around just in case. . .

I do wedding and event photography, and when I switched from a Canon DSLR to a Sony mirrorless A7III, I had a difficult time adjusting to the electronic viewfinder(EVF). It was difficult to see the EVF in bright daylight conditions, so I thought I'd give this wrap around eyepiece a try. I've been very satisfied with its performance, and considering the price, it is an amazing value. I use my camera almost everyday, and this has made it so much nicer to use. I just bought my second on, as I wore the 1st out after about 2 years of use. That may sound like a short lifespan, but if you saw how much use my camera got, you would be impressed.

The eyecup does a good job of keeping extra light out of the viewfinder. In that and it's intended purpose, it succeeds. I need to subtract 2 stars because it's design also blocks the sensor that determines if you are looking through the viewfinder or not. The result is that the 3" rear display is turned off and you can only look through the eye piece to determine your settings; or remove the eyecup everytime you need to make a settings change. This is a design flaw that could be easily fixed by modifying the mount.

Good quality and works well!

This fits and works perfectly on a Sony A7R III. Doesn't block the EVF, but does block out ambient light. Works as it should and is one of the cheapest eye cups out there.

I've owned several of these eyecups. They come in two sizes. This one is the smaller size. I prefer the larger ones. But it's 100% okay and well made.

I have learned to love using the viewfinder on my cameras... Both film cameras and digital. But I was a little disappointed by the eyepiece that came with my Sony’s because they were small and didn’t shield out enough stray light from the side. This blocks out the side light, and it’s certainly more pliable than a few reviews stated. It is a pliable plastic-like rubber that you can comfortably press against your forehead.

This eyepiece is soooooo much better than Sony's factory eye cup. It doesn't pop off and it eliminates side sun glare thereby making your outdoor 77photography shooting a pleasure rather than a chore! If you have a Sony A7, A7ii then get this eyecup!

Was a bit sceptical about the brand but apparently it fits well and does the job. Took out the camera with this eye cap and it covers the eye very well so there is no light leak. It’s also very soft which is very good for waiting for a moment.

Como videografo y fotografo profesional agradezco pequeños detalles como el que supone tener un ocular para el visor de la cámara. Aunque es de plástico duro, (los prefiero más blandos) el ocular cumple su funcion perfectamente, adaptándose al contorno del ojo y evitando así que se cuele la luz. Es un buen producto en su relación calidad precio.
