Great for everyone who loves outdoors fun
I got this kite for my niece and nephew, and it was an absolute hit! They loved the bright rainbow design and had so much fun flying it. It’s easy to set up and flies effortlessly, making it perfect for kids (and adults) to enjoy without any frustration. We took it to the beach on a windy day, and it was the perfect activity—so simple yet so much fun. The quality is great, and it held up well against the wind, which was impressive. It’s lightweight yet sturdy enough to handle plenty of enthusiastic flying. If you’re looking for a fun, engaging activity for kids or a family outing, this kite is a fantastic choice. It’s easy to use, vibrant, and brings so much joy to a windy day outdoors!

Update 3/19: Excellent quality and easy to fly, if assembled properly
Purchased these to introduce my daughter to kite flying. She chose the ice cream cone as the one she wanted to try out first, so I quickly assembled it, but had to double check the instructions to make sure which way the angled cross member supports were supposed to point. (properly assembled, the kite looks like it is folding back, which is somewhat counter-intuitive). There was a ribbon tail attached to a metal lanyard clip at the bottom of the kite, and a 2nd tail included. The lanyard clip was very stiff to open to put the 2nd tail on, but this also made it very secure. We went out to the field behind our house, and instant success. The kite was easy to launch, flew extremely well, and was very stable, not wanting to loop or swoop. My (almost) 3 year old daughter was able to fly it and enjoy seeing it flown, and when not in the air, the kite withstood her semi-rough handling easily. The kites are very well made with quality materials, and should give plenty of fun for a long time. Highly recommended! Update: We flew the kites again today, and one of them (the rainbow) met a few trees. These kites are durable! I was able to, with a bit of maneuvering and serious pulling, get the kite to fly out of the branches, into the top of another tree, more maneuvering and pulling, back into the first tree, and then free. When I finally got the kite wound back in, there was NO. DAMAGE! These kites took on the tree monsters and won. Highly recommend!!!!

Beautiful, easy to fly, BIG kite!
Not a garbage bag like the kites of my youth, really nice (nylon?) sail fabric in vivid colors, with a long streaming tail. I've never flew a diamond kite before but had heard they were harder than a delta kite - nope. Thing jumped into the air and splayed out all 300 feet of line with very little wind. I need more string! Great kite, easy to assemble - just remember the sticks DON'T Face you when you're flying it and tie the string to the string loop - not the plastic loop that holds the sticks. That was a 3 minute delay when we got to the park. Whoopsie! My three year old and six year old were both able to get it into the air. Talk about wholesome family entertainment.

Seems decent, needed to modify to assemble
Per the assembly instructions the center support rod was to go inside the center of the kite, however there wasn't an opening at the back for it to come out and go into the reinforced pocket. I had to cut a small opening to allow the rod through. Otherwise it went together well. I've only had it out once and it seemed easy to get to fly. We weren't able to fly it for long, so I have no long term play time with it yet. It took a couple hard hits and was drug on the ground by a preschooler, held up fine. Overall it's a decent kite.

A very pleasant experience.b
I haven't flown a kite in 15 years. I used to with my dad and we would put foil on it to make it better. I have no idea if it made it fly better. Those kites were probably crappy and made of paper. One crash and it would basically destroyed. I decided to order this kite to try to fly one again. I wasn't expecting much due to my past experience and it wasn't even expensive so I gave it a shot. it is very easy to put together and the material is good. You could crash it or crumble it and it will stay put. I'm not sure about the durability but it will sustain a lot of crashes into the crowd. I wasn't having a good day with wind but I really wanted to fly it so I waited. I finally got the wind I needed and flew. It catches wind very well and will fly high easily. It was a glorious sight to see. It did not last long in the air due to Mother Nature but it's a solid kite. I highly recommend it. The communication between the seller and customer is phenomenal. They really want you to have the best experience possible flying a kite. Flying a kite seems so simple to do(and it is) plus it's a lot of fun and kind of amazing to watch it soar.

My history with kites have been the basic plastic kinds and for the most part they have stunk. The reviews on this kite indicated that it was well made and easy enough for kids around my daughter's age (4) to use. I have to say, despite being a bit pricier than other basic kites, this product is pretty well made with decent materials. A good sign. We took it to the park on the weekend and even before we tried to launch it, the wind was already trying to grab it from my hands. Another good sign. I gave the line a little slack and gave it a slight pull and it blasted into the sky. It was an absolute joy to use. I figured there would be a learning curve for my Daughter, but she grabbed the line and was off. She loved it. For a child, I am sure you could find a cheaper kite. I see them everywhere. I also see parents and grandparents struggling with their children to get these inexpensive plastic kites up in the air. For the little bit extra I paid, the material build of the kite and the ease of use made it an absolute blast to use. This is a great product.
