"What Is It?" Reusable White Salad or Dessert Plate, 7.5 Inch Melamine, Set of 4

These plates are super thick! I thought they would be average more comparable to a plastic dinner plate or maybe a bit thicker, however they are like almost putting 2.5 quarters together thickness. They also are very matt which give it a rather funny feel. Almost like a standard paper plate. With all that, I like them. They served the purpose and I have not had any staining of the material. I have never put them in the dishwasher or anything like that. I think I will have these for some time since they are made well.

I would give them five stars but my wife does not like the feel.They are not smooth but have a rough feel which can be a little unsettling when you scrape a fork over the surface.I bought four and will not buy more but they are OK and really do look like paper plates.So wife two stars and me 4. Average 3.

these are the best dishes and conversation piece. Works well at the cottage for "no glass zones" . Great for kids and picnics. fools everyone. A great way to get out of paper plates. (Environmentally ) I use them for the grandkids.

Can not microwave

These are great plates. They are a nice size, and seem pretty sturdy. My 7 y/o likes to eat his dinner outside sometimes, so these come in handy.The downside is that they cannot go in the microwave. They are dishwasher safe, though.

These are fun!! I give them as gifts with money stuck on them. I only have 3 now though. Cuz I think one of my guest threw one away. So be careful!!! Non microwaveable is no big deal!

I really like using the Melamine plates rather than paper or plastic disposable plates. The quality is excellent and they are great indoors and outdoors.

I bought these for my son for a "housewarming" gift upon moving into his first apartment--after completing boot camp with honors and his other 'on base' requirements. He loved them. Hasn't used them yet, but they seem great. Got the whole set--large and small plates and cups. Have used plates made of this material for years and expect them to hold up well.
