My dog sprained its foot before, and now wearing this protective gear is really good and helpful

This was exactly what I needed for my dog. He broke his toe and had to get a splint all the way up to his elbow. This brace functioned as an anti lick sleeve as well as added some minor compression to hold the splint up. I also love the neoprene material. Very quality product!

My dog is older and sometimes has difficulty standing up, but having this dog elbow brace seems to take the pressure off her joints. Well designed dog elbow brace protector. This dog brace soft enough for my dog to feel comfortable but firm enough to provide the extra support she needs. Excellent product and great quality!

Have been using this for several weeks, no problems. Our 10 year old Golden is on restricted walks for a shoulder injury. Can’t really tell if it is helping him as he tends to hold the leg up, rather than put pressure on it. I had read reviews about the quality, bit it seems to be top quality, very good velcro fasteners. Added bonus: great to hold ice pack in place when he’s resting!

My 8 year old, 80 lb dog developed a nasty elbow hygroma. As big as half a hen's egg, ulcerating, bleeding. Worse, she refused to get in the car to go to the vet. I tried many bandaging techniques. She'd pull them off and eat them. Not good. Finally I discovered (1) liquid bandage, and (2) this protector pad. She no longer can pull off the bandages and also has a thick layer of padding over the wound. After 2 or 3 days, her elbow looks MUCH better. The first time you open up the brace, it looks a little like an origami puzzle. After you put it on once or twice it's pretty easy. Much better, too, than a Cone of Shame because it not only prevents your dog from pulling at the bandage, it also provides padding. Whether this model is any better or worse than the competition, I can't say but am very pleased to have found it.

Product is cheap. It tore at the curved part of the brace after 4 weeks use just like the pictures shown on other reviews. Don’t waste your money.

My dog picked his elbow until it was bleeding. With medicine and the braces, his elbow is much better.

We bought this for our 10 month old lab puppy who had elbow surgery (displasia) to help protect her leg. We put it on only when going for walks and also when she runs around outside. It seems to help protect her, does not stop her from running or jumping, but seems to cushion her leg and shoulder when she plays rough with our other lab. It is very easy to put on but I wouldn't leave it on the dog all day. They can chew the straps on the leg if not watched.

My dog has been having issues with lameness and limping. He had a elbow infection, which finally went away after surgery and he lost a lot of muscle and bone due to this infection so limping a lot he wouldn’t put any weight down so now I have to rebuild the muscle up so started him on walks and tried this and it seems to be working well he’s putting weight on his front left paw again.
