Fish loved them
My fish loved these little leaves. I put 2 on top of the water and once they sank I moved them into his cave. Unfortunately my fish was too sick and he passed away. But while he was alive he wouldn’t leave the leaves.

Don't think just get them!
My Betta fish Spicy was having scale issues and I've added these in to help balance her waters and help and honestly just within a few days she's already looking so much better! I'm amazed at how well these have helped.

Saved my betta
My betta had bad fin rot and I have no idea how these leaves did it but he regained all his color and is growing back his fins!!! I tried betta fix and these leaves actually were the only thing that helped.

not sure if they work
I got these to treat my betta fin rot. They are not helping like I expected, but I am going to keep trying.

not sure if small is better
this was my first time purchasing small almond leaves for my tanks. previously I have only purchased the more common larger leaves. They seemed to work as intended just not as effective as bigger almond leaves. As far as additive to the tank for lowering PH, adding tannins, and food for mostly shrimp, I have had better experiences with the bigger leaves. You get way more tannin from a bigger leaf than a bunch of little ones and for some reason the bigger leaves break down better and faster over time compared to the smaller. For example over a period of a month or two the small leaves showed little signs of breaking down, and my shrimp where not as interested in eating them. Maybe this has to do with something with the leaves being younger. Not the biggest deal but I just liked how the bigger leaves had more of a natural cycle in my tanks (put a in few pieces, get the leaf litter and tannins, and then eventually be eaten by my shrimp) where as the small needed more leaves to get the same level of litter and tannin and were ignored by shrimp and didn't seem to break down in the same way or at all really.
