Didn’t actually need these for the tonneau cover - just wanted to extend the height of the rack.

Does not fit Toyota Tacoma bed, wrong angles
STAY AWAY FROM THE VENDOR HOOK! DIDN'T FIT LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TOO AND 'I' HAVE TO PAY RETURN SHIPPING?!!?!?! The 45deg corner angle on the lower bracket is all wrong for a 2019 Toyota Tacoma bed. Should be 90 degree or have just the tiniest amble in the corner. Bracket resting on top of the bed, which it HAS to for weight support and tonneau cover to fit, angle sucks upper bracket in too far for tonneau width and mounting face is over 1/2" away from bed channel. Never again Hook, and I was considering you front bumpers... NOPE!

Did not fit as advertised
Did not fit on a Tacoma with a Tacoma stock tonneau cover as stated. When I mentioned that, I was allowed to return them but had to pay return shipping because it was "my mistake". Do not order these if you have a Tacoma tri-fold tonneau. They will not work.

Tried it on a Tundra
It clearly says Tacoma in the title but I tried them on a Tundra anyway. Figured they might work or i would be able to modify them to work. For starters the holes did not line up on the bracket and on the bed rack so I drilled out holes to match. Once attached the angles on the bracket make it so it does not sit flush on the bed rail (picture 2). I purchased some spacers and longer bolts to make them sit better on the rails (picture 3). However it makes the gap too narrow for my bed cover. Still sturdy material and well built. Hopefully this review saves some other Tundra owner some time.

Not gonna work with most tonneau covers
Bought the rack and it’s a great product. That being said these brackets will NOT work with any tonneaus I have measured. And compared to the rack these look like they were an afterthought. Do not recommend these at all

Doesn't fit 3rd gen Tacoma
Description says it fits up to a 2022 Tacoma. It doesn't. Save yourself some money. You have to pay for return shipping if it don't fit.
