Extremely high quality Red Dot!
Great red dot sight! When sighted in, you become a sharp shooter. At 60 feet I was able to consistently hit an 8 inch steel plate with no problems under a timed setting (competition environment). The Romeo 3 is the larger cousin of the Romeo 1 (also from Sig). Because the Romeo 3 is a little larger, it's a little heftier in weight. By the way, the sight is cut from one solid piece of metal, making it very robust in taking abuse. Because of my application (I used it atop a Beretta PX4 Storm pistol with a customized picatinny rail) the sight's weight affected the action of the pistol slide necessitating I use 124 grain ammo (rather than the customary 115 grain) to avoid getting stove pipes or failures to feed. The Romeo 3 is really designed for shotgun or rifle use. The Romeo 1 is designed for handgun applications. But at the time of this purchase, the Romeo 1's were scarcer than chicken lips and if you found them, very pricey (I mean the sights, not the lips). Nevertheless, I was still able to successfully use the Romeo 3 as a handgun red dot sight. This sight also comes with bridge to raise the red dot higher if you apply it to an AR or shotgun, raising the sight to eye level while aiming your long gun. A great feature of this sight is the automatic on/off sensor that turns the sight on or off due to the gun being picked up or resting. I found this to be a great battery saving feature.

Great motion activation feature
Works great with my Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 (SBE3). Here are the installation steps: 1)Order the Evolution Gun Works 40601 rail mount which is perfect fit for the gun - you can order directly from the EGW website. 2)On your SBE3, there are 4 plastic plugs that you lightly pound out using a nail set and mallet. You may want to keep the tiny plugs in case you decide to take off the rail someday. 3)The EGW rail includes 4 screws that are a perfect fit. Put a drop of Loctite Heavy Duty Threadlocker Blue 242 on each screw before mounting to prevent any loosening over time. 4)The Sig Sauer sight includes a low-profile and high-profile base. I am currently using the low one. Use whichever one you prefer. The high-profile base is designed so you can also see the iron sights on your gun, but this is moot on the SBE3 because the EGW rail blocks the iron sights anyway. REVIEW -The aluminum body feels very solid and durable. -The red dot is bright and highly visible during the day. You can dim the dot for low-light conditions. I found the dimming function to not work in a stepwise fashion - it is basically high brightness or low brightness without anything in between. -My favorite feature and the reason I picked this sight over cheaper options is the motion activated on/off. It is always ready to go which is especially useful for urgent situations like home defense. You never need to touch a button to use this sight unless you want to change the brightness. -I can lock onto a target in under 1 second compared to multiple seconds with the iron sights. -The battery compartment is a bit finicky. I felt like I was going to break it when I opened it. Hopefully, I don't need to change the battery often. -You need a tiny hex wrench to adjust the sight. You can't just use a finger or screwdriver. OVERALL While fairly expensive, this sight works great. There are less expensive sights that will probably work just as well. The main reason to pay extra for this Sig Sauer is the motion activated on/off which has many advantages - saves batteries, immediately ready for emergencies, one less thing you need to remember to do. TIP: On your sight, practice loosening the set screw before you make any red dot adjustments. It is easy to forget to do this which can break your expensive sight.

Reflex sight quit working
I put my new Sig Romeo reflex sight onto my home defense gun in January and put the gun on the wall mount in the closet with the rubber dust cover on it. I have not fired it since. I got some plink targets and the weather warmed up and I thought I'd take it out and adjust the sight. The red dot no longer works. The sight lights up all red instead and when I adjust the brightness the dot flickers on only when I press up or down on the button. I can't even hold the brightness button down and use it because it is literally one flicker per button press (as if that would be acceptable, it isn't). I tried to clean it. I tried a new battery. I can find no solution. The return period was over within days of receiving the item. It cost $200 and I don't even have a way of reaching out to try and complain besides to leave this review. Luckily Sig has a notoriously good customer service. I plan on trying them for help on a friend's suggestion. I noticed this issue in mid March. Can't say how long it lasted specifically, but even if it quit the day I took it off the wall to get some range time in and adjust it, that's from part of January 2024 to part of March 2024. 2 months max.

A good fit for Sig MPX and Ruger 22/45 Lite.
I’ve become a fan of these Red Dot sights as my eyes are getting more “mature”. I have this exact sight on my Sig MPX and I liked it so much I purchased a second for a new Ruger 22/45 Lite. These are quality built with precise click adjustments and mount solidly to the picatinny rails. They hold zero well and I have no complaints. They are a bit pricey for a working man but you do indeed get what you pay for with optics. Do it... my bet is you won’t be sorry.

Scatola malconcia con sigillo di garanzia lacerato. Non è nero (come da specifica) ma di un grigio chiaro imbarazzante. Evidenti segni di uso pregresso … Batteria scarica e schiacciata (!) … Sembra un giocattolo cinese da 20 Euro … Peccato che ne abbia sborsati 520 ! Serietà = 0 Stare “alla larga” ! Delusione e arrabbiatura totali !
