Singapore Primary Mathematics 6B Home Instructor's Guide

I've been using Singapore Math for my homeschooled children for five years and I can tell you these are the best teacher's guide. I used them for 2nd grade and 3rd grade and then in 4th Grade I bought the guides that Singapore Math produces. Well the problem is it does not have a solution for every problem and assumes that the instructor can figure out the problems. That might be fine for some parents but there were geometry problems I couldn't solve. I had to do internet searches to find out how to solve problems. Even though I own the instructor guides for 4th, 5th and 6th that Singapore puts out I went back and purchased these guides by Jennifer Hoerst. It is so much easier and I can easily explain concepts that I don't understand to my children, and there is a solution for each problem so no more trying to figure out how to solve the problem if my child's answers aren't correct. If you are not a math genius but want your kids to be, buy Singapore Math and buy these guides. It really is indispensable if your children are using Singapore Math.

I am not satisfied considering it does not have any of the answers to the workbook assignments. I have to add additional work to correct my childs workbook answers. This is suppose to save me time.

This book is a must have for every homeschooler who is using Singapore math with their child. I did without the home instructors guide until 6B and wish I had purchased the previous guides, especially starting in 5A and 5B. I am often helping another child with schoolwork or working on dinner while my daughter is doing her math, and it has made it so much easier for me to be able to help her without me having to take the time to read back through to find the examples in the text book in order to help her. I highly recommend it!

Could not have taught this course without it.

I ordered Primary Mathematics 6A, 6B and the Instructor's guides for both. After a week I received two of the same Instructors guides. I had to send it back to get the 6A guide. A week later, I received the exact same 6B Guide that I sent back. So now I have to send it back again and who knows if they will get it right the third time. Super frustrated but as far as the actual math content, I love it!
