Delta Faucet Pilar Single-Handle Kitchen Sink Faucet with Side Sprayer in Matching Finish, Arctic Stainless 4380-AR-DST

From what I can gather, and for anyone that cares, the unit has Sensor that Measures the change in Capacitance when you touch the Faucet or handle. The unit can differentiate between a short touch and a long touch like when you want to rotate the faucet. The short touch starts the water and the long touch doesn't. Works every time perfectly. Power supply is via 6 double AA's in a battery pack, which will install underneath the sink, and which the Delta website FAQ's says will last two years.Lots of parts in the box. For me this wasn't a casual installation. The instructions are good but I had to concentrate and stay focused to understand what they wanted. Had to do this for about an hour's time. The installation is done in steps and each step has a numbered bag, containing the parts you will need, to go with it. So after each step went back and verified that I had done it correctly. The installer will need a Phillips head screwdriver for the faucet "spigot" installation and the bigger you have. I used a #3, the better. I made one mistake. I failed to fully "seat" one of the connections which when I turned on the water, sprayed water under the sink. Pulled the retaining clip, fully seated the connection, and not a leak anywhere.Great Faucet! Looks Great, Works Perfectly. Our whole family adores it. My wife says she touches the bathroom sink wanting it to work the same way. Hmmmmmm.Can't say enough good things about this faucet. Like it as least as much as my first smartphone and use it a whole lot more. Worth every penny of it's cost.

Old Delta was leaking everywhere after 14 years, decided just to replace. This one is more attractive and I love the sprayer's grip action as opposed to the old thumb button. Some people complain about the water force, I find it very helpful during clean up and can easily be adjusted as desired. I hired a professional to install and the job was completed in under an hour. Price on Amazon was the best I could find. Definitely recommend.

Had read other reviews and was clueless in regards to the water flow/pressure (?) rating. This is the single downside of this faucet--when turning it on, the challenge is to avoid turning it on too much, as it will splash a lot, and at the same time attaining the water temperature desired. This has improved only slightly even after using it for a few months. Thankfully, our new sink is 10 inches deep so the splashing isn't usually too overwhelming--depth of sink was mentioned by at least one reviewer, and one i did check for. Still, had i a better idea of what that really meant for us, I very likely would have opted for another model with a less powerful stream, and the reason for only 4 stars. Otherwise, this is a beautiful faucet--great shape and finish, with a handspray handle that makes so much more sense than other (older?) ones i have used. The height of the faucet is great when filling pitchers, stockpots, etc. Installing the handle to the left of the faucet works well and looks more balanced than what's shown in the photo.

Great faucet (so far). The Touch2O feature is PERFECT. Way more sanitary than using wet hands to turn off the water, and the valve is very precise - on and off immediately. No drips. The instructions were good, and it installed easily. I'm a non-plumber installation was done in a couple of hours without any mess. There is a little room for improvement - the finishes on the painted plastic could be better matched to the metal spout and handle. Not really noticeable at all, but there is a slight difference. The base of the sprayer could be less cheap - there is no washer or solid part between it and the counter. Look at the spec drawing on the Delta site and you'll see what I mean. The packaging is...interesting. Delta actually packs the spout in a mailing envelope. Seriously. I guess that works for them. The height and reach of the spout are really nice. No more bending to wash my hands. A terrific product overall.
