No, I think Veto does make a backpack bag though. I will say that Veto bags are the the very best, I feel qualified to say this because i have been doing commercial HVAC, Refrigeration and Electrical service out of tool bags for 45 years. I have owned or worked with others that have owned everything under the sun and i have never seen a better built bag.

Are the large D rings for a shoulder strap

Yes, the two large D-rings on the upper ends are for a shoulder strap, when you fill out your warranty card and register the product they send you the free shoulder strap in the mail.
