We're expecting our first child in a few months, and I was skeptical at first about getting a baby monitor. I spent hours and hours trying to pick a baby monitor (and tested a couple of others)! I got this one at the recommendation of a friend and I was very pleased!Ultimately, this one won out due to 2 important factors.1. The portable monitor charges via USB-C type cable (same as both our cell phones)2. Battery life, this Canshuo seems unbeatable in terms of how long the battery will last.What you can adjust on the monitor: (all within a couple of clicks, not a hassle)- Camera positioning- Talk through the Camera button- Brightness- Sound / Volume- Other Camera add/removal- Warranty/Canshuo company informationThe range is ridiculous, I walked 3 rooms away and still had ample signal for video and audio, another house down I started losing the video feed but could still hear the audio ok. More than we will ever need. The nursery is on the 2nd floor, and still had a full signal in our basement.- The handheld unit touts a 1080p HD screen for clear views of your children in real-time.- Up to 900ft transmission range.- Easy to set up included cameras (as well as additional cameras) with the handheld unit.- Room temperature monitoring.- Remotely pan and zoom (up to 2x) individual camera units in case you have mobile toddlers.Night-vision is very clear!*note* Because it is an Auto night version, if you point the camera at objects or a black n white pattern, it seems to force itself into the night mode. I understand its confusion, so it's not an issue really.All I can say is wow. Picture quality is crisp both during the day and the night. The camera pan is smooth and quiet. I have not had any issues with range but it has only been one day. If you are on the fence between optics and Canshuo there is no question. Go with Canshuo. I am just waiting for their wide-angle lens to be back in stock to order them for my two cameras.

Got this mostly for my in laws being they help watch my kids. Mother in law wanted a setup like this and thought why not.So far she likes it and has said battery life isn't an all night thing. But does just fine for how she uses it. Night vision isn't to bad in my book and day time is just fine. Switching between the cameras is also easy and range isn't bad as well.

We needed a cheap monitor for a vacation and this did the job!

The fact that you have to select which camera you are hearing sound from is the reason we are returning it.For overnight monitoring I want to be able to hear if either of my kids needs me. I have to select which camera I am hearing around from. It defeats the purpose of a split screen monitor/having 2 cameras, if I cannot hear if my kid needs me overnight. Our previous monitor toggled back and forth every few seconds that way you could monitor sound in both rooms.If you are just using for nap, or for other purposes, this would be a great choice.

*Update* Almost 4 months later and I still love it. No issues, concerns, or trouble.In this pic, the camera is mounted on the wall maybe a foot lower than our 8 ft ceilings but it is also zoomed in, so definitely not an annoying close up camera (like my last one which is why this one is hung so high; I reused holes).Just got in the mail today so can't vouch for durability, but this is a NICE camera. It looks and feels well made, it's sleek, the picture quality is great, and easy to operate.

Out of the box, the monitor wouldn’t turn on and I was about to have it replaced when I ended up taking the battery out and putting it back in, and it turned on. It is march 2024 now and I bought it in September 2022, so 1 1/2 years in, it’s completely dead. For the last four months, it would only turn on if you mashed the power button down really hard, and refused to hold a charge more than 5 minutes, and now it won’t turn on at all. What a waste of money.

I can wake up to my son crying in his new room. It can easily see him in the dark. Yup, it does the job! I love the camera split so I can see both angles from the cameras.

The product works well. at first you may think the microphone on it doesnt work but you just have to take the plastic film off of the front of the camera and it picks up sound well.
