Usually this nectar is very good. But the bottle I received was old and had gone bad. There was mildew/mold on the inside of the lid. The birds would not touch it. Amazon issued me a refund.

It came quickly with no problems.

I normally order a different brand that has my little birds competeing to eat at my feeder. As soon as I got this stuff, they stopped coming. I thought maybe they went south for the winter but now that it's spring, I see them approach, take one whiff and head for the neighbor's feeder. Now the remaining liquid in the capped bottle has turned pee-yellow despite being secured under the sink. Nothing to do but throw it out and see if I can order the first brand.

My bird like sugar water much better but it is very easy to use.

I thought this was a great price, so I ordered 2, however, I'm sorry to report the hummingbirds won't touch it. Out of curiosity I tasted it myself. Tastes like watered down lemon juice with a tiny bit of sweetness. Citric acid is the 2nd or 3rd ingredient. These birds were little piggies with previous nectar. Not sure what to think, but I am bummed.

I never got any hummingbirds to come to it. :(

But not as successful as other brands. Since we switched to this, our hummingbirds moved on to other feeders.
