I had a sulfaclense prescription for a few years and was over going back to the dermatologist and paying way too much for each visit + the prescription. Sulfaclense SAVED my skin. In 3 months I went from intense hormonal acne to completely clear skin. After a few years on it, I decided I wanted to switch to a non-prescription face wash. This is the only face wash that compares to it and it works just as well, plus it’s super cheap. The smell is weird but that’s just the sulfur that’s in it. If the other typical acne products (benzoyl peroxide & salicylic acid) aren’t working for you I’d definitely recommend this face wash as it is a sulfur base- I never would have discovered it if I hadn’t gone to the dermatologist! Be patient and give it a few months, I love it and have been using it for over a year.

The media could not be loaded. So I just got this a few weeks ago and started washing my face (I do have sebaceous hyperplasia/ overly active oil glands). And my skin feels smoothier and less oil. However I made the mistake of washing 4 x a week and that I started getting flaky. Sooo. I adjusted it to 2x a week and it works out perfectly! Less is more with this product. It does smell alittle, but you know if I can look good afterwards who cares?!

UPDATE - I WISH I COULD BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!! I love it but don't know why I can't find it on Amazon anymore - YALL!!!!!!! I can not begin to effectively express how much this has changed my skin! Clearer!!! Firmer!!! Smaller pores!!! Brighter!!!! Others expressed drying but I haven't experienced that. I use this at night as a wash and about every third night as a mask also. THIS, this product will always be in my arsenal!

While this only has a 3% amount of sulfur, if used consistently, it works well.It also smells very good. I don't think I would mind the smell of sulfur, but this cleanse smells kind of like a shampoo or conditioner and it's very pleasant.It doesn't take a lot of product to cover an area and would therefore last quite a while.I think it's a good quality product for a low cost and would definitely recommend.

I, like most of you, purchased this product because Dr. idriss said sulfur gets rid of sebaceous filaments better than oil cleansers.The smell of this isn’t terrible and it’s very cost effective, but this dried my skin out so bad and I do not have dry skin or sensitivity issues. I can’t use it daily that’s for sure.I really don’t notice any effect from it. It’s very thick and hard to lather, I’ve used it as a face wash and a mask. I still have sebaceous filaments. I do like to use it when I get a break out though because it’s drying, but I feel like I have better results with benzoyl peroxide.There is a noticeable sulfur smell but it’s not awful and goes away after it’s rinsed off.
