This trailer lock arrived quickly and was perfect for our trailer. It fit exactly as described and looks great. The keys have a black matte grippy on the end which makes it convenient to unlock and lock with ease since these are a smaller key. I would recommend this product.

Fit the existing lock hole in the door perfectly. Had to do some filing on the opening for the lock in the door jamb but that was the fault of the trailer manufacturer not the new lock.

I do like having one key to fit both locks and that was a big plus. Despite reviews saying these are sturdy, they are not. There is a definite lack of quality in how the mechanism works. I cannot imagine they will stand up to much use. Since I live in my RV, that is a critical factor. When you turn the key or use the handle from inside, there is just a rather loose and ill-fitting movement as it locks and unlocks. In addition, the center of the cut portion of the key leaves an VERY narrow section that would easily break at that point. I have used graphite in the lock to try to smooth the operation of the locking mechanism but to no avail. If, and when, the lock sticks, there is no doubt the key will snap. If I rarely used my RV, I might not be quite as concerned for it might be okay with limited usesage if you are always VERY careful turning the key (and are lucky) but for anyone using this on a frequent basis, it is just a matter of time until you are likely to have a big problem. I upgraded my locks and have these as spares in case someone has an emergency with their lock and needs a temporary lock until they can get a good one.
