Good selection but a bit dated
A lot of old familiar learners' pieces. Things are a bit more imaginative and diverse nowadays

More Value than the First Edition!
While this would have been better if this volume was printed like the first in plastic comb, this is no reason to knock down the quality of this publication. Jerry Willard does it again, but this time, in my opinion, he does it better. This is leaps and bounds over the first volume. While another reviewer has stated most of these pieces you can find elsewhere, that is more true of the first volume. Here you get the complete Bach Lute Suite in E Major; you get the Grand Sonata by Paganini (yes he was a guitarist as well as a violinist and this was written for the guitar); You get a good transcription of de Visee's Suite in D Minor, Downland's "Lachrimae Pavan," Granados' "La Maja de Goya" and, more importantly for me, a good transcription of Granados' "Valses Poeticos." You will also get a good selection of Giuliani's Op.46.This collection is best made for the intermediate through advanced guitarist. While it's not plastic comb binding, it's still well worth the price in my opinion and better than the first volume.

another great set of classical guitar sheet music
This is a worthy second volume to the first book, the “Library of Guitar Classics”.There’s a lot of essential material here not featured in the first volume. The first book and this 2nd volume will keep any classical guitarist, from beginner to advanced, busy for a long time.I love the comb binding that does not pinch and allows the music to lie flat on a table or stand. The notation is clean and professional looking.Recommended.

Great book but needs spiral binding.
Pros:Great selection of fairly approachable pieces. No tablature cluttering the book. (Less page turning is way better than tablature!)Cons:It could use a spiral binding.
