The media could not be loaded. I gave these lights 5 stars. And I will explain the good, and the bad, and why 5 stars in the end.Let's start with the not so good. The app. Yes, it has functionality. But it is seriously limited (as compared to other products similar to these). The app gives you 200 modes to pick and choose from. Sounds like a lot, but it's only a handful of different fades and chase modes that either go left to right, or right to left. And to make this even worse, you can't pick and choose what color combinations of these modes. The app lacks any DIY functionality, and that is the biggest drawback of these lights.The somewhat difficult part. Installing the double sided foam. Oh it sticks alright, to everything you don't want it to stick to during your install. Take your time, it makes using this stuff way easier. We cleaned and prepped the entire upper bead receiver on an above ground pool. Let it air dry (a few seconds would suffice, but we took a couple minutes). Once we worked it all the way around, we made one more pass to make sure it was well seated before pulling off the red film (start the removal of the red film before finishing up seating it, you'll be so glad you did). Once that was done, we started installing the LED strip. Which went fairly easy. We also made a second pass to make sure we pressed the entire length into place. So far, 2 weeks of weather and temps, and nothing has budged an inch or lost any adhesion.Why did we buy these lights? One length of LED's, one power supply, one controller. The ONLY issue we did encounter was one length of wire (the 3 prong wire). It was too short for our specific application. But we were able to contact the seller and quickly got a 3 prong extension (for an additional 10 bucks). Finished the project up and it was a very clean install from all aspects of these lights. Customer service was quick, and helpful.We have the controller and power supply in a weather proof plastic box (I know they claim they're water proof, but an ounce of security goes a long way to make absolute sure it is 100% water proof). And yes, the power supply does get very warm. This will be kept under a watchful eye in the event of any issues..The lights, look absolutely amazing in our pool. Zero chance of electric shock, zero probability of any submersion. Install was so clean, unless you know those lights are there, you won't notice til they're on. They are 24 volt, and offer a respectable brightness to them. We need no other lighting in the pool as these lights do the job perfectly. AND (this was the best part), where the LED string starts, it ends in the same exact place. All we had to do was cut at the cut trace, use some silicon sealer, reinstall the cap, let it dry, then stick it to the double sided foam.At the end of the day, all most would want is a product that isn't difficult to install, or use. And these lights are just that. Other than the limited app, or the power supply temp. These lights were worth grabbing.Hope this helps any potential buyer with insight. For me, and my needs, this LED strip did just what I wanted. And no, this is not a paid review! This is an actual customer who bought and paid for this product. :)

Long post coming. So I always go all out for Christmas and this past year I wanted to find lights that I could keep up and use throughout the year. After searching and searching to find lights within a reasonable price I came across these. At first when they arrived they were easy to set up, but the 200 feet isn’t a continuous strand. It’s split 100/100. That was tricky to figure out how to make it work. I bought 600 feet just over a grand when I bought them. The strands are extremely thin and I don’t think they’ll last for a long haul. Perhaps that’s why the companies that do these professionally are 6-8k for my house for installation. So got everything installed and it was awesome I will admit. But that was very short lived. One of the lights split after installing and 100 foot of my house wouldn’t light up. Thankfully it was on a non street side and the back of my house so although I would’ve rather had it lit up all the way around I could live with it. I have a strand left that I plan on replacing when it warms up. I did have 3 sets left over. So I went to return those because I didn’t really need them. I kept one strand and went to return 2. I printed my label and went to ups to return. A week later I get a call and my package was returned. I thought it was strange considering where these are shipped from over seas and where the return label had them going back to which was Colorado. I got my package back and the seller said I had to keep them because shipping was going to cost him $100. And I said well these cost me $300 and I don’t need them. And this was within fhe 30 day period. We went over and over round and round. So I pretty much got stuck with everything. So tonight I go to turn my lights on and a strand on the front of my house roughly 20ft is now malfunctioning. I’m from Kansas and the chiefs parade is tomorrow so I wanted to light my house up red and for Valentine’s Day. I’m at a 40/60 for buying and not buying. I like the lights but I think it’s crappy on the seller that he wouldn’t take mine back within the 30 day period. I even screen shot his post where it says hassle free return within 30 days. If it were me all over again I’d keep looking and go else where. I know these won’t last me the long haul. I’ll be lucky if I make it to next Christmas with these still working. Long post but it’s honest. I wouldn’t buy and to be honest I’d like my money back but I know that won’t happen from this seller. A lot of headaches and poorly made material light.

The lights themselves are amazing!! and i love how they look. The issue i am having with these is no matter what i try, i cannot get these lights to link with the FairyNest app that it recommends. I did get a remote with these but it takes a long time to arrow over on the remote to find a specific color option you would like to use depending on the time of year. Hoping they come out with a solution to fix this issue so i can make presets for the different holidays.Wanted to update this review, the seller messaged me and did everything in his power to make sure this worked as described, they ended up sending a whole different module and worked like a dream. Fast forward a year and the connection came apart for some of the lighting I contacted seller again and right away messaged me back to help resolve the issue !!! I would definitely reccomend this to other people as his customer care is amazing!!!!
