Bought this for my work desk, and what a difference it made. I no longer feel sore at the end of the day. It’s been a lifesaver.

I have lower and upper back pain and a need to be seated for long periods of time so I bought this product along with a backbrace from the same manufacturer and a honey comb gel like seat cushion.The back brace was a farce, it did absolutely Nothing to provide back relief while sitting or doing anything else for that matter. The gel seat cushion had a nice feel on the buttocks but did absolutely nothing to decrease my back pain or help me sit longer.This item had an immediate effect the moment I put it in my office chair and tried it out. It is everything I hoped for and more. It completely took the pain out of my lower back by supporting my back where needed and relieving the pressure on my spine just from gravity and taking the pain out of my torn and bulging disc's as my back was fully supported and held up it felt like and kept my lower back from compressing. It's firm enough to do that without sinking very far in so while soft on the back it's firm when weight is applied and so doesn't deform and holds the form thats helping support the back.It did two things the back brace and the gell cushion didn't do: It relieved the pain in my lower back by offering real support and preventing the compression of the disc's in my lower back and it increased my endurance in allowing me to sit longer without pain from doing so. This was an EXCELLENT buy and I am so so relieved that I bought it. This is what's going to help me sit in my office chair and focus on production instead of pain.For anyone that has to sit in an office chair all day to study or work, this is a MUST HAVE item. Thank God it works!!!

it works good but a little to thick for me, i have a small truck and it does push outward a little more than I would like.

Nice support for real

I have been having active lower back pain from sitting at my desk too many hours. I tried a different pillow, which actually made it worse. So I was hesitant to order another one. But I did. There were problems with the delivery (it never arrived but Amazon said it did) but I finally got it ordered as a replacement and it arrived yesterday., It is AWESOME. It feels so good and my pain is already a lot less and fading fast . The reason I bring up the delivery issues is because the company who makes this (Sparthos) had nothing to do with the problem, yet jumped in and offered to help. They went out of their way to keep tabs that I received it and was happy with it. Not too many companies out there do that sort of thing. So now I am now a total fan of Sparthos. They were/are wonderful and so is their product. Well done, Sparthos customer service and thank you again!

It's well made. W/ the extension straps, it would probably fit around all but the largest of seats (it easily fits around an "executive" office chair w/o them). Unfortunately, I find it uncomfortable. It's quite firm, which is a good thing in most instances, but since my chair already has lumbar support, I find it pushes my lower back out too much. W/ a flatter chair it might well work very well. As I find it too uncomfortable, I don't sit w/ it long enough to determine if it indeed helps w/ lower back discomfort.

I got this item intending to use it with a power recliner because I had been told I would need to sleep sittingup for several weeks following surgery. I already had a cheap semi-soft foam lumbar pillow, but was sure this would be more supportive. It was. But it was also a bit too supportive for the need I had. After testing both my older lumbar pillow (which was a bit too soft) alternating with this pillow (which was too firm), I decided to use my older pillow. I gave this pillow to my cousin who works from home and was entering his peak demand time when he easily works 12 - 15 hours at a stretch. He had already purchased a better quality office chair that came with a lumbar support option - which wasn't doing much good for him. He tried this one out and was delighted with it. The strap options allowed him to position it where it would do him the most good as well as being strong enough to support his back for many, many hours. This support pillow is very well made. (my old one was just a zippered cover over foam). It is highly supportive, adjustable and perfect for an office worker. If this is the application you have for it (or perhaps driving long distances and needing a firmer lumbar support), this would be a very good purchase for you. For knowledge workers or for driving long distances, this is ideal.

This is a very nice back cushion but it is firm – too firm for my liking. Fortunately I do not have existing back issues however because I work long hours remotely, I thought I should get a back cushion to help alleviate some of the neck strain I’ve been feeling lately. The pillow is very nice and firm but it presses into my lower back area and is uncomfortable after a few minutes of use. For reference, I’m 5’8” and 135 lbs. female with an athletic build. Posture wise, I try to sit upright in chairs and was hoping this pillow would help me to have a more consistent posture, which honestly is probably lacking after hours in a chair even with hourly breaks. If you are looking for a chair cushion that is firm and you don’t mind that firmness pressing into your lower back, this is the cushion for you. Strangely, I sleep on a firm mattress on my back but this pillow is not comfortable pressing into my lower back.
