I had a little trepidation at first when I was looking at this mug. I saw all the reviews stating that the cup couldn't keep ice frozen for more than 6 hours. There were numerous reviews stating that they couldn't put the cup upside down in a bag and throw it off a cliff without it leaking. I saw the ones that stated the 24oz cup is too big. Or that it wasn't dishwasher safe. The most worrisome: that it's made with materials that WILL cause cancer.Then I woke up and realized I have reasonable expectations for this cup, and bought it. It isn't going to keep ice for half a day. It resists spills well, but if you turn it upside down, it is going to leak. This isn't a thermos. About the cancer warning: Have you ever bought anything made of plastic? Half of those products have that same warning on it! I don't mind that it isn't dishwasher safe because I'm not lazy and don't mind hand washing it.Yes the cup is an awkwardly large size (My hands are "huge" too), but I wanted the 24oz capacity. This same cup also comes in 18oz for those that can't handle 24. It fits great in a cup holder. I use it for drinking, not storing liquids, so the ice lasts until I finish my drink. I don't toss it around or try to use it as a shaker, so leaks are nonexistent. I don't use it for coffee because it has a plastic lining, and coffee ruins those.You know what this cup is good for? Filling it up with a bourbon and coke and hanging out with your friends, and being able to tell your drink apart from all of theirs, because they all use Yeti cups. It's good to be different.Seriously, it's only $13! Just buy the thing and enjoy!

I bought my wife four Bubba cups five or six years ago and they finally wore out. Thus, I bought her these as replacements. The cups are a handy size and easy to hold. The cups are used for iced tea and will keep it cool for quite awhile. She finds them easy to wash as they recommend hand washing rather than using a dishwasher.

Pros:1. Typical Bubba quality. The cup is made well and feels strong.2. Large 24oz size holds a lot of coffee for a long morning drive (nearly an hour for me)3. Does a decent job of not spilling. It's not airtight (so you can't use it to shake/mix your coffee) because of the vent hole, but the top stays on tight and the lid is tight (almost too tight).Cons:1. The diameter is a bit much. I think I would have given up a couple of ounces of capacity to have it just a bit thinner. Don't get me wrong, I'm 6'3" and can palm a basketball, but this cup is just a bit too thick to be comfortable. Not that you're going to drop it, it just feel odd. Maybe it's just me and maybe I'll get used to it. Of note, it does fit securely into the cupholders of a 2015 Dodge Charger.2. My biggest complaint, the 'drinking lip' on the top is nearly 1/4" thick and rounded off. This is the part that your lips go over and the size and shape require you to 'slurp' every sip to make sure you get the entire sip off the cup so it doesn't spill. I don't know why manufacturers make cups like this as they just result in small spills.I really want to like this cup, but the 'drinking lip' just kills it for me. I bought this cup as a hopeful replacement for my other Bubba coffee mug (bubba 20 oz travel mug classic navy), which has a well designed lip but uses the spinning style top to prevent spills, which only does an OK job. Also, the other mug has a handle, which is convenient, but doesn't quick fit into the cupholders of my car and causes the cup to sit not quite vertical, which then doesn't leave room for my cell phone in the 2nd cupholder. It's a house of cards in that car. :)Overall, I think I'll be going back to the mug with a handle and using this one as a backup. Kind of disappointed as I was looking forward to this one but the fat lip did it in for me.

I had a previous bubba tumbler, which I loved, so I bought this thinking it would be similar. All it has been is a big waste of money. The tumbler leaks all over the place, not just from the mouth hole (there is nothing that actually seals it shut, so tip the tumbler just a little and you're spilling all of your drink), but also from the juncture where the lid and the cup meet. I cannot even walk with this tumbler without spilling my usually hot beverage on myself. And the icing on the cake is that this product keeps things hot for an hour max. Within two hours it's warm at best. So unless you are drinking your tea/coffee right away and are not traveling AT ALL with this tumbler, do not get it.

Order arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. It keeps my drink hot for several hours. My only complaint is that it's not completely leak proof it it's accidentally tipped over. There must be a small hole in the top under the flippy thing that allows the fluid to flow out.

Been drinking coffee for along time (I'm 51). Got a driving job and I like to have my joe with me in a travel cup that don't leak and keeps warm. This one is both and for the money you don't feel too bad when you lose one. I lose a couple a year. It has a press on lid not screw on. Many press on lids drip but not this one. Easy flip tab which I prefer over having to twist and align.You can find this at Target as well and I had bought a couple at Walmart a couple years ago but they don't seem to carry them anymore. Amazon's price is around the same so let your fingers do the walking.

I use this size Bubba containers for coffee in the morning- size is perfect. It is easy to hold, easy to clean and is leakproof.I have used Bubba for years. I have ordered at least 4 from other companies , and keep coming back to Bubba. Just ordered this because my 10 yr old container is still working fine, but looking a little faded. I think Bubba is the best !
