An open mind book.
It took me sometime to finish reading this book but it was worthed, definitely a master piece. The author really knows what he is talking about and defines masculinity in a pretty complete way, from inner shame to the damages of porn and eroticism, it makes you understand and heal your wounds, I love it!

Changed my life.
I assumed this book was going to dive into the superficial things of being a man, such as discipline, image and appearance, confidence, attracting women. However, I was met with a surprising but necessary shock on how much our relationship with our emotions affects us as men and controls us. This neglected part of my life has now been brought to light and I feel liberated by it! I was looking for what could make me feel whole as a man and this book has given me the pathway to attain that. It one that requires a lot of self reflection. One of the best and impactful books I’ve read.

Only the last chapters are worth reading
I found the prose very annoying, the same concepts get repeated many times in a mantra fashion: don't expect to change from the reading because the book lacks guided exercises to do on yourself, which are essential for psychological self-development/reflection.Only the last part, about sex, was worth reading: a very lucid analysis on the origin of many dysfunctions. If your alternative are internet articles or YouTube videos, then go for it.

Eye opening must read for every man!
This book is perhaps the best resource for men who are looking to have a deeper life. Masters has a way of showing us where we might be stuck in our lives emotionally as well as relationally. A sobering look at men in today's culture. Every chapter offers deep insight into our emotions, our sexuality, and the distractions we employ to numb ourselves to our pain. Some points are pretty hard hitting, but isn't that necessary to expose and shake up dysfunctional patterns of our lives?
