Sturdy & good
I bought "Champion Sports Official Olympic Volleyball Net" from you know where, yes amazon. Since the net didn't fit perfectly in the Outdoor poles in the park we play regularly, I purchased this. I was skeptical since 50% reviews were 3 or below. The net I have is quite heavy & it does pretty well to get the net to its best tension. Once set, the net is awesome for rebounds and stuff that you expect.I would have given 4.5 stars for the only negative I found which is - when releasing it doesn't come off smoothly at times (considering the tension or the load it has in the net).

Made backwards
I bought for volleyball setup but it was made backwards with a short screw strap and a slightly longer strap on the ratchet side which is not correct

Volleyball Net Rachet
For years I've been looking for something that will help us setup our Volleyball net for games and practices. I finally found a very simple mechanism that works well for our outdoor poles and has help us tremendously. Thank You!P.S. Other schools that have visit us for games have already ask me where I got it, and I told them. :-)

Strong/Durable but can get jammed
Have used this for years and just lost/left it on the court yesterday so I assume it’s gone now. It has held up to the stress of tightening a metal wired beach volleyball net for years about 3-4 times a summer, never used in the rain. However, the strap can easily get wrapped off-center such that it gets jammed and does not easily release. Even when the strap isn’t off-center the ratchet would sometimes get stuck and not easily release. I was going to see if WD40 would fix it and then realized I left it on the court yesterday so now it’s probably time to get something new.

Must Have
i bought this to tighten our outdoor volleyball net and it worked like a charm! The net it beautifully straight from end to end and with ease, there wasnt the hassle of pulling with all your might to make it even just to have it bowed in the middle....i highly recommend this product

After about four uses the red strap ripped.
I never expected the strap to rip with just a few uses to tighten the net, we never over tightened or put any stress on the net and one day it ripped when we were setting up. The strap is very thin compared to truck tie down's which are essentially the same thing. I only had it for less then two months.

A small light duty cargo strap worth $10 tops
I received this and didn't even open the clear plastic bag that it was in. This is nothing more than a lightweight ratcheting cargo strap plus two carabiners that you can get in any hardware store for less than $10. I just assumed that for $30, it was much bigger because cargo straps do come in many sizes and the MUCH bigger ones can cost $30. I gave it two stars instead of one because other than the misleading description of "heavy duty" it probably does what it says. Since I don't want to get into debates with material engineers and lawyers, I am not saying what constitutes heavy vs. light duty in terms of stress loads. However, if you go into a hardware store, you can see what is called heavy duty and what is not and something this size falls into the "not" category for how every other similar product is labeled.
