PEAK COLD Commercial Under Counter Stainless Steel Freezer; 27" W

Being the mother of a family of 7 I decided I wanted a commercial freezer in my garage when our current bend over and reach in freezer broke. After doing much research I was going back and forth between this freezer and one other brand that was a little cheaper. I actually went to purchase the other freezer and when I realized that shipping was not included and that was going to cost me $500 I decided to go with this freezer even though it was costing me an additional $200 but it included shipping. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase the very next day customer service returned my call and answered all of my questions promptly and did not make me feel like I was bothering them. It arrived on the day it was expected. This shipping company was very helpful it helping us get it into the garage. It came VERY well packed, because I was nervous of it getting dinged and scratched in shipping. It only took a few hours to come up to temperature. I did purchase the extended warranty just in case I have any problems, but I would definitely purchase from Iron Mountain again! I choose Iron Mountain because they will warranty this commercial freezer which will be used in a residential home where as a lot of commercial freezer makers do void the warranty for residential use. I also choose them after I looked at all of the reviews and nothing seemed detrimental to the actual product purchased. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely purchase again from this company.

Perfect smaller unit for overflow freezer space. We put in our garage and fits perfectly under a table. Works great.

Just got it going yesterday. So far all is as advertised. They could consider shipping it without the wheels under it. Had to take them off to get it through a standard door opening. Would like to reserve final judgement until we see it operate for a while.

This is a high quality unit. excellent construction with a easy to see exterior temperature gauge.comes preset for -7 degrees.this unit is packed in 3 separate layers to protect the stainless steel exterior.wheels come pre-installed.the freezer is bolted to the shipping skid, suggest two people to unpack it.after the order, customer service contacts you right away to prepare shipping and follows up so you know when its coming. we had one bad shelf with slight damage to the epoxy coating, they sent a new one the next day.I highly recommend the freezer and the seller.

This item shipped within an hour or two of me placing my order. They called to set up delivery details and it was able to be delivered before the expected delivery date. Item looked great and is running well. It seems like a really good freezer at a reasonable price.

Pro: Had for one month, have had zero issues with keeping temperature. When I first hooked it up it was 80 degrees F, nearly an hour later and it was -6 degrees F.Excellent customer service setting up temperature programming. Had issue with top/hinge being damaged during shipment even though outside of packaging showed no damage. Company shipped out new part to replace damaged one.Con: temperature programming was difficult took half an hour with customer service.Could have come with more shelves.If you need a commercial freezer with programming abilities this will suit you no problem.

Bought one in 2021. After 2 years, i decided to buy a second one this July 2023. The first freezer stopped working. There is no expert around me to fix it. I regrated buying a second Peak cold freezer. It might stop working after 2 years as well. Think twice before buying this product!

This freezer is great, I would highly recommend one. It's even bigger than we expected, and it's stuffed full of frozen tasty food frozen. Get one while you can, in case stuff gets even more expensive and harder to find.I will say that this BEAST does make a lot of noise when running normally, and some slightly clunky sounds when starting up. It's loud enough so you will not want to have inside your living space for residential use. My wife can hear it through the floor above the garage.I have my freezer inside my unheated/uncooled garage. This freezer actually holds 7F even during the warmest 90F outside temp days. I consider this to be pretty good. Be sure to clean it regularly(every month is preferred) to avoid having the refrigeration coils become clogged. While the temperature on the display is accurate, it also shows the instantaneous cooling temperature which can RISE rapidly (nearly 70F) when it is on a defrost cycle. This last twist surprised my son, who freaked out because "OMG! All the food is melting! Do something!!!". We just left it alone and it went back to normal business after the defrost cycle.If you buy from Iron Mountain, you even get a warranty for residential use. Otherwise, probably only for commercial use from other vendors. Be careful, almost all of the big commercial units are NOT warrantied by the factory or the sellers for use at home!!
