They last while, the burn off scent as it's lighting is still a bit much
So far so good, I like the coals. They light quickly and stay nice and hot. I don't have the same issue with these as I did with other brands I've used, which was that the incense I use would put the coals out, that hasn't happened with these. I recommend them but beware when you light them the fumes are intense. Light them near a window or outside over something that won't allow your stuff to catch on fire

Containerize immediately! Very versatile!
I like the larger size--this is probably intended for hookah. Well, it's been over a year--I'll order another box. I don't notice any odor from these. One thing about all of these brands is that the lighter fluid will evaporate. The cheapo foil packaging fails to prevent this.Carefully use a little lighter fluid or camp fuel on these--if necessary. You need a good cauldron--cast iron is brittle--it may break if dropped on a hard surface. It also rusts: That protective coating burns off quickly. Finally, I found a good sized metal cauldron that is not cast iron: it's about 3 1/4" deep by about 4 1/2" wide. I'm able to place two disks together--on the bottom. The "new age bookstore" type of merchants keep selling cast iron cauldrons--I suppose that's what their vendor push heavily. Certainly, you may obtain a very large one.Keep an eye on your ignited disks and cauldron. I've not tried abalone shell: Many people do invoke it. The disks definitely do heat up cauldrons (or, shells).Really, you may burn almost any sort of incense with these disks: This is what is needed for those great, totally-packed incense sticks (rods)--special temple incense, etc.Just break that rod into sections and place atop the coals with tongs. Needless to say, these disks are keenly useful for resin incense. Resin incense seems to melt, at firstThis type of rod incense differs from incense packed around a partially exposed stick (typical commercial incense--which may be very fine, too).Of course, the disks are ideal also for sage, etc.--smudge. Cones, Palo Santo (fragrant wood incense), etc.I use a different type of burner for typical incense sticks. No disks are necessary, then....

Best charcoal ever!
Ive been using charcoal for resin incense for 40 years. This is the best Ive ever used!! Larger, lights very easily and spreads to a coal in 1 minute. Lasts longer too and holds it's shape longer. Easy 5 stars!!

Each and every part is important.
The product is ok, but it arrived in pieces; You should improve the S&H.

Burn a long time
I like everything about these little charcoal. They burn a very long time. I am able to add my incense to the cup, I also lay my Paulo Santo wood pieces on them for a lot of smoke in the room
