I bought this for a different reason than transporting LP's. I'm a qualified sound healer and have been looking for the perfect transport (sans car) to take my very beautiful but very heavy set of Tibetian singing bowls around to classes. This solution is perfect, feels really sturdy and really protects the bowls due to the internal padding which is about 1" thick all around. Not taken it for a spin yet but feels similar to quality hand luggage solutions, and I'm really chuffed. Loads of room for bowls, mallets and other bits and bobs I'll need to put on my sessions.
