Hundred year old technology properly implemented. It just works.
This is OLD technology - I have been using similar tools for over 60 years and some of those were forty years older than I am. I had/have a project that needs a "Stitch Awl", I couldn't find mine, and I purchased a "Name Brand" item. It arrived and in less than an hour I was on line ordering the Co-link product. The "Name Brand" item was not usable. The Co-Link arrived two days later (Amazon Prime!) and I have been stitching away since then. I can not gush over the technology - it was perfected a century ago. Co-link implemented the very functional technology in a very functional manner. The needle fits in the holder and can be easily clamped in place. Sounds easy - but a well known brand name botched it. Thank You! Co-link for not being inventive! Your product does just what has worked well for a long time. "If it ai'nt broke, Don't Break It!" The Co-link product ain't broke!

Order more thread and also get a smaller needle in case you are not using it in very heavy cavas or leather.
So easy to use and so helpful. My very expensive mechanized owning started to rip because they use cheap thread that rot in a couple of years. I decided to try repairing it myself. I have never sewed anything before, but this little tool with patience allowed me to complete the job in a couple of hours and save over $500 dollars that would have cost me to replace the canvas. Just make sure you order additional thread when you purchase it. The amount I got was good for about 2 yards length. I had to wait for more thread before I completed the job.

Step one -
Open the package, throw the instructions in the trash. Step 2 - find the youtube video. After 30 minutes of trying to read the VERY badly copied instructions, I finally found the video and within 5 minutes was using this handy dandy tool. I purchased a hot tub cover (anyone who has bought one know they are not cheap) less than 2 years ago, went to open the cover and the entire seam holding both sides together was split. Stumbled across this Speedy Stitcher and once I learned how to use it, had the Hot Tub cover back together within 2 hours. Saved myself some $$ by being able to fix it myself.

Fantastic Customer Service, Questionable Quality
Update: Customer service is AMAZING, they sent me a replacement product free of charge, and quickly. Hopefully the broken needle was just a flaw in the one that I received. Customer service gets 4 stars, product is a 2-3. I was sewing two tanned animal skins together, nothing too thick or tough.Cheap needle, it broke in half sewing two pieces of leather together. The cord is difficult to get out of the spindle as well. Didn’t even last half of one project. Waste of money.

Good but could be better.
Works exactly as expected but a PITA to use on heavy fabric/thread. My use is on putting new fabric on sling chairs so there is over 10' of stitching on each but the ability to place the stitches so that the holes are located where the fabric crosses prevents the "tear-on-the-dotted line" situation that was the end of the prior fabric that was commercially stitched by machine. The mill work on the inside of the bobbin case was rough and had to be sanded and the thread hole needed to be cleared of splinters and the spool ends on the bobbin could be longer to allow easier chucking up on a portable drill for winding on the thread.
