Kettler Vario Indoor/Outdoor Table Tennis Nylon Net

I don't see the plastic as being a drawback on this item as others have stated. I must admit that I have only used the cheap net systems that come in start-up kits, but this design is so simple and yet so clever and well worth the cost. Once it is in place (after a very easy setup), it is going nowhere. The way it is fixed to the table, there is no movement side-to-side or any post lean. The net itself is very high quality and easily made taut with a quick adjustment. I already have another one in my cart to have for a backup in case my kids destroy this one too, but it is much less likely to since it is such a better engineered product compared to the crud we are used to. Anyway, I am no table tennis pro but this seems to be an excellent value choice for recreational use.

I have a Kettler ping pong table that needed a new net. Though the Kettler VARIO Table Tennis net was a bit more expensive, I thought it would be worth it to get a net designed for my table. Amazon delivered the net in short order, as they always do. The pieces all fit my table perfectly and the install came naturally to me without having to read any instructions. The new net looks great on my table, and I love how tight the top is with the adjustable string system. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing a high-quality net for their Kettler table.

Fit perfectly and works as expected. I wanted the non-nylon net, and wasn't sure how this would work out. It's fine for our recreational use. Will buy again when we need one.

I bought this as a spare net and did not come to use it until 9 months later when I discovered that the indent which fits over the table I between the yellow thickness adjuster and the but that sits on top of the table did not exist. Instead there is a piece of fiarly solid palstic which clearly was meant to be cut out in the processing. It was easy to determine that this is a case of defective manufacturing and poor quality control as it doesn't look like the (very clear) pictures at all. If I posted a picture you would see what I mean. So if you buy this product fit it at once in case yours is also incorrectly constructed

This is my 3rd purchase. Each unit works for a year then breaks. The Kettler table works well with this one so I more or less gave up on buying other durable products. Think of it as a consumable to keep Kettler in shape.

Prior to buying I saw the reviews on this net were mostly good. But after I purchased it, set it up and have now played a few games, I am finding that the net is more than satisfactory & for around $22 is a very good value. It fits my Kettler table-top table just perfect. The design is smart and requires no tightening of bolts or clamps, therefore not marring the top or the bottom of the table. Know that it is plastic and therefore may not be good for situations where kids recklessly run around the table, as the net extends about 6" outside each side of the table -- the terminals could break if someone inadvertently knocked against it. Showing some care with that, this net should last for many, many years.

Pretty bad design - not very German, their out door table is great but for this they dumbed down the original net design and added plastic - wish I could find a better outdoor solution.

I have a gaming network cafe and I thought it would be nice to add one low price table tennis, after installing the net it fits perfectly and firmly, I can say for mid to low game usage this net is the best choice, I expected lower quality thinking that the price is too low but after using it for 6 days now I am sure this net worth more.
