True, this kit will not work with 1998 subaru legacy outback 2.5. It worked perfect for my 1997 SLOB 2.5, and it still working great.

Q: Will this fit a 07 Impreza 2.5i with stock flywheel?

It fit my 08, not sure about 07 but it should since the engine wasn't full redesigned until 2011.

IT MAY FIT BUT I WOULD GET ONE FOR A TURBO ENGINE TO BE SAFE I PUT THIS IN A 2000 SUBARU FORESTER NON TURBO A TURBO ENGINE MAY NEED A STRONGER PRESSURE PLATE
