Worth the money
This is the only lens my dad uses for work and we have reordered many times. Durable and worth the price. He said it’s the perfect darkness for his needs and fits his welding helmet great.

Great quality GLASS lens meets ANSI specs.
The lens it's self is 5 stars however I gave it 4 for Amazon's pathetic way to package a GLASS lens! First one came shattered in one hundred pieces as it was only in a paper envelope! Second one made it in one piece but it was in a minimally padded envelope.

Very dark, but works as described
Darker than I'd assumed, but I'm sure it is to spec. Wish I'd chosen a lighter shade, but that's my mistake. Still, I'm glad to have the eye protection.

Replaced lens in welding helmet
Purchased this lens to view solar eclipse. Since the eclipse won't happen until 2044, I will use it to replace a badly scratched lens in a welding helmet. Less expensive than the helmet brand lens and fits perfect! OE lens is plastic while this one is glass. I hope it is tough enough to last 20 years of welding to still view the eclipse!

Good upgrade to the harbor freight helmet
My harbor freight helmet seemed to be too light and I needed a darker lens. This fits perfectly.

Good price and very clear.
Needed new lenses for a welding hood I bought at auction and these appeared to fit the bill. They worked very nicely and I now have a spare in case of breakage. Now I can use my new to me hood with the hard hat attachment for overhead welding and keep from setting what little hair I have left on fire!

I've bought these because I've seen people use them as ND filters and I've been needing an extra powerful one for a while for a few projects, but I didn't have the money to buy the real deal. This is working pretty damn well so far. Of course, it casts a green hue on the photo, but it's quite easily corrected in post-production.
