Yes… what isn’t from China? Feed you chickens and they pass along the laced crap to you through their eggs. SMH!!

What substrate/food are the mealworms grown on? Do these undergo testing for heavy metals and contaminants when they are imported?

Yes, the mealworms is safe, they had approvals from Inspection & Quarantine in China and FDA in USA.Thank you.

Some mealworms carry mareks and other serious disease. the uk has ban them. are these mealworms tested thoroughly? my flock got sick after purchase.

The poultry I have love the mealworms. The chickens pick them out first and eat the other things afterwards. The ducks have to wedge themselves in order to get some. My birds seem to thrive on them and derive most of the protein from it. Once in awhile I sprinkle in the black fly larvae. The mealworms are a treat and should only be given a little bit. One cupful sprinkled over salad and does it for 7 chickens and 2 ducks. So far they seem to be healthier even in our harsh N. Idaho Weather.
