Great as a daypack for essentials
I've taken this pack on 3 international trips and it has held up perfectly. I use it as a daypack to carry water, umbrella, small items and souvenirs I accumulated during the day. It's very lightweight and perfect if you need to do a lot of walking.

Great ultra light day bag
This is too small for camping, but perfect for a day in the woods, beach or park! It weighs almost nothing, is weather proof in a light drizzle and can hold a water bag (CamelBak style bladder) and enough food for a picknick along with a sweat shirt or medium jacket and your usual day trip things. I've used it as a carry on bag as well, but it's a top loader only which isn't ideal for flying. More outside pockets and side access are needed for flying. But it's a great bag for just about everything else. You can very easily add shock cord to the back if you want to strap your jacket to the outside as they have included very strong attachment points for that.(They should have included the cord!)You can also add on a few MOLLE style pouches with a little bit of creativity. Just remember that it was designed to be a small lightweight bag for just the essentials, to be extremely comfortable all day.Osprey knows what they are doing.Highly recommend this one!

Not for everyone but it I like it
I think for most people the zippered, 13L version will be the better fit. That being said I liked the idea of the drawstring closure and the color, after taking this on a trip I’m happy with my choice (great, small carry on size for flying, easily fits under your seat). The hydration pack pocket held my MacBook Air but wasn’t big enough to fit the case (it makes the dimensions a little too wide), note that removing the laptop (or tablet) may mean you need to take something else out of the bag as the drawstring mouth can be less wide depending on how you packed the top of the bag.Other than that I fit a change of clothes, small camera bag, headphones, and a few other things in this as a carryon. Water bottle got attached via carabiner on the front straps so I didn’t need to hold onto it all the time. The front pocket was deep and useful for small items though when the bag is full things towards the bottom can feel lost for a bit due to this.I like the extra 2L over the zippered Daylight bag and am happy with my purchase, but saws mentioned before think most will be better off with the zipper version unless you specifically want the drawstring or other aspects of this bag.

The perfect day hike back
As soon as I got this I took this bad boy on several hiking trips. It’s the perfect size for a day hike with extra space in there for snacks. Change of cloths, a light jacket, and other essentials. Wears comfortably and that’s coming form a VERY sweaty hiker. The materials are sturdy and I love this closure more than sippers, as some times sippers are the first thing to break on a backpack like this, plus it’s noisy, inefficient, and unreliable. This cinch pack design is great, easy to access, reliable, quite, and so easy to use.11/10 to be honest. Highly recommend.

Quality and great price!
Love this pack. It’s built well, plenty of pockets for smaller items. Twenty two years a Marine. I know quality for the price. I have a small locker at work and it fits easily. Top notch!

Cheap version from good brand
Not the quality I'm used to from Osprey. It's just ok. There are no pockets in the main storage part, just a pouch for bladder. The pocket on the outside is ok. The closure on the main storage is cumbersome - I'd rather just have a zipper. Clearly this product from Osprey was made so consumers can own an affordable version of the otherwise expensive brand, but you ultimately get what you pay for. I thought I was getting a deal... I'd recommend putting more money towards a better version.
