Purchased this to primitive camp and hold my cast iron skillet beautifully! Nothing like fresh biscuits over a camp fire

Excellent ultralight grill.
If you like to grill while backpacking. Or you just don’t want to carry the weight this is a great option. The one slight downside to it is you’re going to be using this over a wood fire pit most likely and it is hard to balance this grill with the leg design. Otherwise a great grill for the price and weight !

Nice size and finish
A little flimsy but super lightweight and would be great for kayaking trips, car and grilling items that don’t weigh too much. It may be also optimal to stabilize the legs with rocks.

Thinner than expected
Product is thin stamped metal with cut outs molded to give illusion of thickness. Thankfully this will still work for me for most things and explains the incredible light weight.

Some little bonuses
Review after 2 years of use (30+ camping trips):Thin but sturdy with reinforced cross beams underneath. Minimal warping over time has not affected function at all. Seasoning over time has improved it's non-stick behavior. The flat bag it is packed in is better quality than expected. Also functions very well connected to a BBQ tripod with chain https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CVC7M89/. Added bonus: It fits perfectly in the bottom of my 5 gallon camping bucket

Not as light as thought
It will be ok boondocking but not light enough for multi-day hike. Maybe ok for short overnighter. Takes up a lot of space.
