I have been looking for a suitable knocker for my from door. Now I have found one. The only downside is that it made the other ironwork on the door look taty so I had to paint that with Hammerite which in turn made to wood look taty so I had to treat that with Sikkens filter 7

Could be more helpful with instructions and templates to aid fixture of device. Are you to assume everyone is DIY competent.

Would loved to have had a template for drilling the exact position for the bolts which have to be positioned from the inside side out

Good basic and sturdy door knocker. You have to drill all the way through the door, which is not described in the product description. And it doesn't have a proper template for drilling so we put a piece of paper over the back and poked holes into the correct places too help drill the holes in the right places. Looks nice now that it's on and its not coming off any time soon!
