Another great read by Kristen!This time we get the story of hot hockey player Luc and hot actress Emma and what happens when their worlds collide!Absolutely loved Luc... his grumpy stand off nature made me smile with his grunts and non answers lolEmma was sweet and loving.And although they tried to fight it these guys had some instant chemistry sparking as soon as they met each other.Side characters were also fab I'm this book especially Sal! Everyone needs a Sal in their life!

A beautiful story about two people that have suffered deep blows to their careers and the way they see themselves, there is emotional upheaval but also a lot of growth and forgiveness, as well as learning to love and to trust. Lucian and Emma have their own journeys, equally powerful but when they meet in the middle it creates a story so romantic you can’t stop reading until the last page. Their chemistry is amazing, the spice is very hot and sexy and there is humour in the witty conversations between all characters. The author is very good and getting you immersed in the story and getting you to forget your surroundings for a while, the entire book feels healing to the soul and reading leaves you feeling hopeful and happy. I loved it and recommend it to those who want a quality dose of romance and happy endings.

Emma literally gets the axe from her Game of Thrones style acting job and then finds her boyfriend balls deep in another woman, so she heads to Rosemont for some much needed relaxation.Here she meets Lucian, ex-hockey player and grandson of Rosemont's owner. He's gorgeous and charming but also secretive and gruff.Delicious homemade treats start being delivered to Emma tempting her in more ways than one.I can not describe how ridiculously happy this book made me 😊The innuendos throughout had me giggling constantly. There is so much talk of cream 😂Its a slow burn with lots of sexual tension as they try to avoid each other but, of course, don't manage it.They have to deal with their own issues of finding themselves after losing their passions.The smut is incredible 😍Grumpy/sunshineOne bedEven some skinny-dippingPlease read this, I don't think you'll regret it!

This book kept me up all night, made me salivate each time one of Luciens desserts was mentioned. Excellent read

Very light readable story, about a hockey player who can no longer follow his dream, licking his wounds at his grandmothers spacious house and complex. An actor who at the height of her popularity in an adventure fantasy soap is quite literally axed, and retreats to same abode. Lucien is the sullen, grumpy hockey dude, and Emma is the no longer required actress. The story unfolds and it becomes Spartans Lucien is a phenomenal pastry chef, and Emma is a good antidote to heal Lucien. Both have had failed relationships. One found the ex cheating, the other found the ex only had eyes for the partner of a famous person. They both therefore were wary of each other. Denying the attraction, and suppressing the desire. There are plenty of interesting characters to add into the mix, some new and some previously met. A very enjoyable read. A very talented author.

I dare you to read this and not develop a food fetish 🤌 I absolutely loved this couple and their chemistry !! It has feels and spice in a perfectly heady combination, so don’t hesitate to read this and daydream about French pastries and poolside stripping ;)

I absolutely adored this book - the characters were real despite the fame aspect of their lives. I always choose to read standalones then get sad when there’s no more!! 😆😆
