Wonderful sword and good value for the money.
First of all this review is based on a $300.00 Katana and not on a $2,000.00 Katana. For the money, it is a beautiful solidly made sword. The tsuka-ito cord wrapping is tight and beautiful. There are 3 three winds symbols on each side of the tsuka near the tsuba. The tsuba, although it is not magnetic, is very attractive with a golden and silver tiger. The blade is sharp and very sturdy with a very nice polish. The hamon is what you would expect on a $300.00 katana. The saya is very attractive and well made. The sword fits well into the saya and is held firmly in place by the habaki. The sword comes wrapped in a beautiful silk cloth covering. All in all it is a beautiful sword that I really love and I am very satisfied with the workmanship. I would not hesitate to buy another katana sold by Lyuesword. I did make this purchase from the Lyuesword Store on Amazon.com.

Sharp, solid, and beautiful.
This is my third Lyuesword, and I think their swords compare favorably with any other swords in the same price range. The tsuba on this sword is excellent, the silver and gold plating looks much more brilliant in real life, and it has an authentic style to it. The blade is very nicely shaped, razor sharp all the way to the habaki, and the yokote is straight and well defined. The choji hamon looks amazing. The suede leather ito is tight and grippy, and the fuchi and kashira are well made, with no visible casting seams. All of the parts are solid, no wobbles anywhere. My only complaint, and the reason I gave it 4, instead of 5 stars, is that the habaki on my sword is not tight against the sides of the blade, and the habaki is not the same as the one pictured above. It is a plain, flat-sided type, not the stepped, textured type shown in the photos. That was a little bit of a let down because I like the style pictured. Overall a functional and beautiful katana. I have only two other katana that I feel have the same authentic look and aesthetics of this sword, and they were 3, and 6 times the price of this one. That says a lot. Thanks, keep up the good work, Lyuesword. I recently noticed that a strong magnet is not attracted to the tsuba, so it is apparently not iron. Neither are the fuchi/kashira. Debating whether to subtract another star.

Excellent katanas & tachi swords.
I own 6 swords from Lyuesword. They are all beautiful & well made. All of the individual parts are well fitted, & all of the blades are very sharp & well polished. Do not hesitate to buy from this seller. You won't be disappointed. Be careful with the blades. They are razor sharp.
