Music Sales Ltd Graded Pieces For Piano - Grades 3-5

I really like the arrangements, beautifully put together, often almost identical to the original pieces. I'm a grade 4-5 returning adult and with a bit of practice can already manage most of the book. I also like that they attempted to arrange each piece to two, three or four pages to minimize page turns. Two negatives. One, Una Mattina arrangement is different to the original, it squeezed in an extra note. While original has 5 repeats to the bar, the arrangement has four due to the extra note and sounds different. The binding is another negative. It's high quality paper and binding, for the book to stay open, I have it pinned like I'm drying a skin or sth, four clips or so to keep it open. So I'll probably cut it up and put into a sleeved ring binder as the book is already shredded by the constant bending. Perhaps split it into a few volumes with just stapled booklets (like trinity).

100 stars ⭐️ from me. I cannot recommend this book enough,not only does it have tutorials breaking down the left and right hand with tips it also has an app where you can listen to the pieces of music,play along which really helps with the rhythm. I’m just returning to the piano after a long time. Einaudi's music is beautiful at just my level I really love The snow ⛄️ prelude

I've really been enjoying learning Ludovico's graded pieces. I like how it includes tips for certain phrases and what to focus on. You also get access to online audio and resources to help practice. Lots of value in this book!
