32GB Ultra Dual Drive USB Type-C - USB-C, USB 3.1 - SDDDC2-032G-G46, Black, Silver

I bought this 256GB USB drive a few months ago, and it has worked really well so far. I love that it can connect to both my PC and my phone — it makes transferring files super easy. The storage is exactly what I needed, and I haven’t had any issues with speed or reliability. Overall, a great device that does its job perfectly.

I initially bought two of these USB-C/USB-A dual thumb drives to use as backups for my data. I like them because they are compact, reliable, fast, and very convenient. I like that it's easy to carry around in my purse since it's so small. Also, my laptop has a USB-C port and two USB-A ports, so I really like the flexibility that I can use this thumb drive in any of those. Everything was going along fine using these for my regular data backups until....I put one of these thumb drives in my pocket and forgot about it, and sent it through the clothes washer and also put it into the dryer and "dried" it. I heard the clacking around in the dryer and...there it was. And when I took it out of the dryer, it was HOT. At that point, I decided to immediately buy an identical replacement for that one, and not take a chance on continuing to use it. I didn't want to risk that the washed one would fail on me sooner or later, have shorter lifespan, or loose any data. After receiving the third one (the replacement) and doing my regular backup onto it, I then decided to try to the one that I inadvertently washed and dried and....it works perfectly with no loss of data. At least so far. So for now, I have THREE of these and am keeping the washed one as an additional backup thumb drive. I really like the convenience of these thumb drives, the dual USB-C/USB-A ends, the large amount of data that they hold, and the reliability. I don't recommend that you send them through the washer and dryer like I did, but if you do so, well, now you know that it will probably continue to work! I recommend this thumb drive and am very happy with it! I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I’ve had this thumb drive for close to a year now and find it very reliable and convenient for transferring files from my different devices to my laptop. I recently got an iPhone 15 PM and was curious if it would work on it since the new iPhones now have USB C ports rather than lightning ports. I got on here and checked the reviews to see if anyone else had tried it or asked the question of whether it’s compatible or not. To my disappointment all the questions that were answered about it it indicated it didn’t work and that iOS didn’t recognize it and the SanDisk app doesn’t recognize it. Wanting to double check and verify myself I went to the App Store and re-downloaded a couple of Sandisks apps that I had previously used and gave it a shot. To my dismay the reviews were right and the App Store software from the manufacturer does not recognize it. I still wasn’t satisfied with that outcome so I plugged it in again and opened the “Files” app which is the iOS native software that comes on it from the factory. I hit the back button a couple times and got to the “On My Phone” folder and was delighted to see that the IPhone recognizes the thumb drive natively with no extra software required to use it and you get an extra 256 GB of storage(depending on your model). It works like any drive would on your PC. You can create folders, save any type of document you want and even have the option to format the drive if you so choose. Just wanted to pass this along to anyone who was wondering and may not be totally familiar with the iPhone. The only negative thing that I have to say about this drive, is that it does get rather warm when plugged in and using it via the USB port. It’s not really anything that causes any problems, but I can’t imagine it’s good for the lifespan of the drive running that hot.

Clever idea, really like the ability to use directly to my phone. Now able to transfer without going thru my pc, saves a ton of time.

SanDisk 32GB Ultra Dual Drive USB is a "Jump Drive". It has both USB-C and older USB options. There is a selector, so you can expose the USB-C jack to connect to your smart phone or newer computer. If you have an older computer/device, you can 'select' the older rectangular style USB. USB-C is a connection allowing faster transfer of data to and from the jump drive. Attached by the traditional (older) USB-A, you can search the drive and find things quickly (depending on how you have them filed.) If you want to transfer all the data you have stored on the jump drive through the rectangular USB plug, make some coffee, rent a movie, sit back, it's going to take quite a while. (Depending on size of drive and how much data you have on there. The USB-C drive is MANY times faster.) I purchased the 32 GB size for a family project; to scan into my computer all our old family photos (using a flat bed scanner) Photo Slides (Using a device (purchased elsewhere) that takes a photo of you slide and saves it as a jpeg. (you can edit/retouch the saved JPEG using any photo editor). This took a long time to do (I'm retired, lot of photos, memories, etc) and put on the computer. When I was finally ready, I used my newest tower (It has a jack for USB-C) and copied all the photos, films, family movies onto the jump drives and sent them to our family across the U.S. and to a nephew in the Navy stationed in Japan) c/o his parents. (I did wrap them in aluminum foil when I mailed them to try and protect data from any magnetic interference. Waiting to hear back from the family about the memories. Functionality of having option of two different jacks on one drive is great and offers versatility. Appear and so far have been durable. For what they are, and have a good name behind them, they are a good value for the money. I have had no problems reading the recorded data on computers or smart phones. Not difficult to remove from phone, but I do use the "Safely Remove Hardware" app on my computer before disconnecting.

It was value for money and does what it is designed for, but when plugging in you have to push hard on slide button to make it lock in or it will not work.

Elle est assez rapide et elle est reconnue sans problème sur un Mac. Je m'en sers pour faire une clé bootable sur mon Mac au cas où. On ne sait jamais on peut toujours en avoir besoin un jour.

Es una excelente solución de almacenamiento. Su diseño compacto y la doble conexión (Type-C y USB 3.0) lo hacen muy práctico para usar con varios dispositivos, desde ordenadores hasta teléfonos y tablets. La velocidad de transferencia es buena; puedo mover archivos grandes en cuestión de segundos, lo que ahorra mucho tiempo. Además, el tamaño de 64 GB es perfecto para guardar fotos, videos y documentos sin preocuparme por el espacio. Sin duda, es una compra recomendable para quienes buscan un pendrive confiable y eficiente. ¡Estoy muy satisfecho!

世間でも少しずつtype‐C型USB搭載機器が増えてきている昨今、私が購入した2in1タブレットもtype‐C搭載でした。 とは言っても、職場のPCが早々新しい物に替わる筈もなく･･･、双方で使える当製品を購入しました。 当然といえば当然なのですが、デュアルコネクタは非常に便利です。ツマミを左右にスライドさせるだけでtype‐A/Cどちらでも対応できますし、キャップがないのも便利です。 個人的に、小さすぎるUSBメモリは不安になるので、これぐらいの大きさが丁度良いです。 後、私は気にしませんが通信中を示すLEDランプは搭載されてませんので注意してくださいね。

Type-AとType-Cの両方に対応しているデュアルコネクタ仕様でとても使い勝手が良いです。パソコンからスマホへ、あるいは逆にスマホからパソコンへデータを移したいときにケーブルや変換アダプタを探す必要がなく、そのまま差し替えるだけで利用できるのが本当に便利でした。 USB3.1対応なので転送速度も速く、大容量の写真や動画もストレスなく移せます。特にスマホで撮った4K動画をPCに移すときなどは、スムーズに転送できて助かります。また、SanDiskの製品という安心感も大きく、長く使える印象があります。 コンパクトで持ち運びやすいですが、小さい分なくさないよう注意は必要かもしれません。キャップレスのスライド式なので、キャップを失くす心配がないのもポイントです。 信頼性と利便性を兼ね備えたUSBメモリで、データ移行やバックアップ用にひとつ持っておくと非常に重宝すると思います。
