I've been looking for a non-minty toothpaste to use in the mornings. This is the first one I tried that actually isn't minty, it works but the main issue is the texture. It is GOOPY. And it almost seems to not be fully mixed? Sometimes I get lumps/chunks of the ingredients while brushing, very unpleasant. Maybe that is just a drawback of it being so natural. Besides the texture issue it's good. The flavor is nice a subtle.

I usually use a lovely Coconut Ginger flavored n-Ha toothpaste, but it wasn't going to be in stock for my most recent Subscribe & Save shipment and since all the backups that Amazon recommended were peppermint flavored (which I loathe), I went searching for a fill-in that would be more pleasing to my palate. I found Jason's line of Coconut toothpaste and thought I'd give one a try (I'd used Jason mouthwash in the past and been happy with it). But I should have read the ingredients before buying because as soon as I put my "coconut"-toothpaste-loaded toothbrush in my mouth I was hit with the awful flavor of peppermint. They claim this toothpaste has a "refreshing Coconut Chamomile taste" but unfortunately, the peppermint oil totally overpowers the Coconut Chamomile flavor that I was expecting. I mean, that's the whole reason I bought this in the first place, because I thought it wasn't peppermint flavored. So, I still think that Jason is a good company with good products, but this was a miss. If I decide to try any more of Jason's products (especially their toothpaste), I'll be sure to read the ingredients before I buy.

I found Jason toothpaste a couple of years ago at TJ Maxx, I was kind of nervous to buy it, but I'm really glad that I did. I am on my 3 tube of Jason toothpaste, and I don't think I could ever go back to Crest again. I recently found out that i was allergic to peppermint, so It makes it hard to find a good toothpaste. That is why I tried the coconut flavor of Jason's Toothpaste. I was worried that it wasn't going to be minty enough to make my breath smell good, and I didn't know what taste to anticipate. This toothpaste does have a little bit of mint in it (not enough to make my entire mouth numb), so it does leave you with pleasant breathe. The coconut taste is not very overpowering and actually taste really good! Highly recommend this toothpaste to anyone that wants a more natural toothpaste or for someone that is also allergic to peppermint!

I have used this toothpaste for a couple of years now and I really like it, as I credit it for saving a tooth that had a thin brown line through it prior to switching to this product. I think it has to be the coconut in the product that did the job for me. The brown line disappeared after about 2 months of use. I brush thoroughly and for a couple minutes, then take in enough water to swish the paste around in my mouth for a while. Then I repeat the swishing process at least one more time until all the product is gone. Unlike some fancy toothpastes this product does foam a little, which I like. I like that it has no fluoride and no artificial sweeteners - WHY do people think everything has to taste sweet? I also like that it has no known carcinogenic ingredients and only question the sodium cocoyl glutamate, but that has a very low and questionable rating for causing any problems. Nevertheless, I would prefer it was not in this product. The only con I can think of is that the texture of the paste is just a little weird, which I think is from the cellulose gum near the end of the ingredients list, but I can live with that. I have this toothpaste on auto-ship and will continue to use it so long as it continues to do such a good job. I recommend this product.
