It cuts/shreds the paper towels into pieces

Love the look but functionality is not good. We only!!! insert one pack of towels inside the dispenser and every single time someone pulls on a paper towel it rips the towel in two : one piece in your hand the other on the floor… every single time. The opening of the dispenser is too sharp. Bad design. We are trying tape now to prevent the towels from ripping
