Amazing yarn will buy again
Arrived very fast and is so nice to work with. I was a little hesitant because I have never used this thin of yarn before but it is the perfect thing for my parasol that I am making. It is very soft and feels very nice and glides very smoothly on my hook. No tangles or knots that I have seen so far and the color is very vibrant and gorgeous. I have tried other kinds of fingering size yarn and it just is a tangled mess when I tried to wind it and the fact that this is in a cake already with a tab on the center pull for ease and convenience is amazing. The amount of yarn you get for the price is also great considering you can get maybe a quarter of the amount for the same price at my local craft store and the colors aren’t nearly as nice. I will definitely be back to buy more when I am ready for more projects.

Thin, shiny, squishy, beautiful
This is a spectacular product. My order reached me fast, and NOT in a vacuum pack (thanks!) The yarn label says it is a number 1 thickness, but I think it is more like a light number 2, which I was looking for, so it is perfect for the project I have in mind. The colors were the same as the pictures, though they were even more lively in person. The strand has a bounce to it, it gives a slight, pleasant squish for the project; drapes beautifully without becoming "limpy". The color transitions are very smooth, the method to achieve the different shades to flawlessly blend to each other is changing the color one of the 4 strands the yarn spun together. At the places this change occurs there are tiny knots (of course), which are so tiny, they blend into the project seamlessly. There are 14 color changes throughout one cake, one section is about 70 m (~ 79-80 yards), so for small projects I recommend to separate the colors first, wind it up in individual mini cakes by colors, and plan ahead on the color changes carefully. Originally I wanted to crochet this yarn, and it is perfect for it, even for beginners, but I changed my mind and will knit it to take even more advantage of the color transition. The cake can be worked with from the inside out (there is an "easy start" label on the middle end), or from the outside, depending on which direction I want the shades to work. One cake is enough for a large shawl, I imagine, but I ordered two to make a light pullover. There are other brands selling the very same fiber blend, thickness and color for double of the price of a cake, so I'm extra happy for finding this one. The Seller is super pleasant, reached out for me to see if I am satisfied with this product. I will be a returning customer for sure. Thank You!

A joy to work with
I bought color 310 which is yarn weight 1. The colors of this yarn are absolutely beautiful and the transition is really impressive. They do an excellent job with the gradual transition from one color to the next. I am unsure why anyone is complaining about the yarn splitting. It's splits no more than any other type of yarn I've used. The cotton/acrylic blend makes this yarn softer than straight acrylic and it feels very nice. The only complaint I could make is that there aren't even more colors, especially more colors with the dark rainbow. That would be amazing. When I finish my project, milk try to update with pictures.

Great Yarn/Good Value!
Beautiful colors! This yarn, labeled as laceweight/1, feels identical to Hobbii Twister, weight label 2, in every way.

No tangles if you avoid the metallic thread
This particular yarn cake has been wonderful to work with. Yes, it is thin. But it does not split anymore than any other yarn I’ve used. It is a delicate yarn so I am treating it as such. No tangles or “yarn barf” after 25 rows of the shawl I’m crocheting, but I did try the cake with the metallic thread and it was a total disaster. Now, I have yet to find any yarn with metallic thread that does not tangle. So, yes it’s pretty, but not worth the hassle. The Yarn Art Flowers without the metallic is a great choice.

Lovely to work with
I love this yarn and the gradient it provides. It was easy to work with, easy to frog, and gave my project a lovely drape. I found zero factory knots, and had a super easy time finding the center pull.

Vibrant easy to work with
Very beautiful, no noticable pull and very seamless on the color change, even when you start the color change early for smaller projects, working on twin ballerina dresses and couldn't be more happy with this product, Shockley has a good stretch on the yarn and the thickness is perfect, easy to work with.

I wanted this for a specific project but have never used it before so I just bought the one to try it out to see if it would work for me. I really like it, it's very soft and easy to work with. A 4.5 mm hook is giving me defined stitches with a really lovely drape. I love the long colour changes, and the fact that colour joins are very inconspicuous with just a tiny, easy to hide knot. This one cake has worked up into a 22x22 keepsake baby blanket in a pattern with lots of yarn eating detail, and I will have enough left over for a little hat of pair of booties or something. A less intricate pattern would result in a very good sized baby blanket or a nice big shawl. I've already ordered another cake in a different colour. Good quality, and worth the cost.

I've nearly finished knitting a pashmina-style shawl with this yarn and am loving the feel of the fabric and the gradual colour transitions. This yarn has exceeded my expectations and I will definitely try some of the other colour options. A tip for other knitters: fingering weight yarn is notoriously prone to tangling but you'll be ok if: (1) you pull from the centre (there's a helpful paper tag so you can find the inner end) AND (2) if you reinforce the yarn cake so that, as it hollows out, it stays together. You can see in the picture I've done this by leaving the yarn cake inside the plastic wrapping it came in. This has held the yarn together and I've experienced virtually no tangling.
